Staff was very kind. She let us stay for our half day during our time to wait for our flight at night. Our flight to jakarta from senai airport was at 22.00 pm. So we must wait from 11 am to 20.00 pm, because we must check out from previous hotel in JB at 11.00 am. We decide to book 1 room at carlsul hotel (2 person room). So we can stay during our time to wait the flight. First time we arrive at carlsun, the staff told us , that we only book for 2 person, but we came with 4 person. I told her, that we are not going to stay over night, we just stay until 20.00pm for our flight to jakarta. And she allow us to stay. Thank you,

Kulai is not just a 1 Day Stop-Over.

Kulai is not just a 1 Day Stop-Over. I spent 4 Days here and even without visiting the Tourist Attractions like Putuo Village, Gunung Pulai or Kulai Monkey Mountain, I still enjoyed myself with all the Foods available. If you are interested in the Foods I ate in Kulai, please feel free to come visit my Facebook Food Review Blog: "A Solo Singaporean's Guide to JB Foods and More!" I mostly focus on Malaysia JB Johor Bahru Foods actually, but do visit Other Parts of Malaysia and even Other Overseas Countries some times. I frequently travel to Skudai to drop my sister off at UTM,...

I frequently travel to Skudai to drop my sister off at UTM, and during our visits, we always enjoy brunch at Chamek Kopitiam, where the food is truly exceptional. You should definitely try their dishes – everything tastes amazing! If you're a shopaholic, I highly recommend spending a couple of days at Paradigm Mall, as it offers a wide range of stores to explore.

I love the room it's spacious, but I dislike the building...

I love the room it's spacious, but I dislike the building facilities maybe it's old building, 1.) Parking lot the number on floor very hard to search especially driving 2.) Some area at parking lot very dark can't see clearly. 3.) Having building indicator but it's too confusing. suggest to differentiate building at least paint with different colors. 4.) Inhouse facilities for my case washing machine can's use tried many time operating but end up failed. 5.) TV channel at least just put MYTV local channel network no need YT,Netflix internet TV 6.) Bathroom door cant lock from inside the button loose Good things : WIFI, very nice view

Basic not much to do there and the weather was super hot.

Basic not much to do there and the weather was super hot. My impression of Kulai is famous for the thunder tea rice but to my disappointment I had tried 4 different stall / shop/ cafe/ restaurant. The tea soup was super salty is was like drinking seawater.

It's a nice place to staycation, not a long drive to JOhor Premium Outlet,however not so convenient to drive into town for Foodies as the journey will be around 20-30 mins depending on the traffic flow.

The staff do try hard, but are not very well trained e.g in getting a taxi. I don't think the towel or bedsheets or quilt cover was clean because I itched. My skin is very sensitive to things unclean. When asking for extras or clean sheets, the staff showed a less than willing attitude to help. There were excuses offered. The location was the greatest thing about this hotel, within walking distance of great eateries. Use this hotel if location is very important, but expect average quality and average service only.

The service and communications is great, polite and...

The service and communications is great, polite and professional. But, needs improvement on the facilities and maintenance services. Need to set a protocol to maintenance staffs that they need to knock first and ask permission before they can let to enter for any maintenance service. They simply DO NOT just use their master card to straight bulge into the room. There may be occupant inside. Thank you.
