I was very lucky with my room: I looked straight at the harbour and church from my bed. Free hot water and tea bags whenever needed. Otherwise everything was fine and kind of as expected for a big modern hotel - good wifi, friendly staff etc. The breakfast was nice. Location is brilliant, and I really liked Hammerfest, as it is not too small to be bored yet not as touristy/big as other towns in the North of Norway. I washed two items of clothing with the soap in the bathroom and they still smell nice even 4 days afterwards :)

Breakfast was top notch, friendly staff that took the time to answer my questions about the area, walking distance to a few excellent restaurants. The bathtub in my room was a welcome change from most European shower stalls. Scandic has my business if they have a location where I am staying.

An incredible apartment - we loved our stay! The apartment makes great use of space so it felt quite roomy and comfortable. So many personal touches that made us smile. We really appreciated the washer/dryer, which worked great.
The info booklet created by the hosts had very useful material - I wish all rentals would do this. And good hiking info which we took advantage of.
The kitchen had everything we needed. The view while cooking or relaxing was wonderful as advertised!
