The location was very good within walking distance from everything like shops, restaurants, and different shops. Around the house at least 4 or 5 restaurants within couple of meters walk. If I return to Notdden I would book it again. Also a walking distance from the bus stop.

Bø is the perfect location for exploring Mid-Telemark.
Bø is the perfect location for exploring Mid-Telemark. It features several grocery stores, a drugstore, numerous dining establishments, and multiple refueling locations.
It's about an hour and forty-five-minute drive north to the Norwegian Industrial Workers Museum, which tells the story of the "Heroes of Telemark" operations during World War II, and is definitely worth the drive. Check their website for opening times and days.
An hour south is the city of Skien. A significant population center with many museums, shops, and restaurants. It is also the southern-most point on the Telemark Canal (Telemarkskanalen).
Driving along any of the numerous minor roads surrounding Bø will bring you to farm shops, old churches, and other attractions, which are fun to discover and explore.

Me and my family loved our stay in this place specially my husband. The location was great and the view was nice. We enjoyed our veranda because it was on the beach view. You can also enjoy their water activities on the site.
