It was just exactly what I was looking for in an unexpected overnight stay until my flight the next day. The beautiful receptionist was very cordial, and helpful! A gentleman helped me with my heavy luggage to the second floor! Very reasonable, and perfect for a good rest. The air-conditioning was divine!!!! The room was clean!! Water pressure in shower was great!!! The hot shower after a long flight (8 hrs)was great!!! The cold shower in the morning was great!!!😊They even have a free shuttle to the airport!!!!! Awesome for the incredible price!

The new terminal "C" is spacious clean and definitely not crowded. TSA was efficient and well organized. We were able to get through that in record time with no delays. The food area is well laid out and stocked with a variety of restaurants and stalls. It even has a Gluten Free stand which I have never seen in an airport and truly a great service for those of us that are gluten free.

If you go over carnival it is not peaceful and it's very loud, but we were there in the week and it was beautiful! They have live giards at the big 'pools' in the river which was great. The beer at Artemia was really refreshing and delicious. We had a meal at a local fonda that was delicious. There is a lot of hiking trails, that are well marked. I would not suggest going when it rains, since the roads are very bad and it will be slippery, I also suggest going with a car that is higher off the ground. We did not see any burds really besides ducks, it was eerily quiet during our stay.

We love, love Panama, this our 2nd visit.
We love, love Panama, this our 2nd visit. We enjoyed our day trips. We loved the Island of Contadora. Monkey Island was interesting. Touring the Panama Canal via the ferry on this vacation was great. We enjoyed eating at Mercado fish restaurant. The food is delicious, and the staff are so friendly.
We stayed in Old Town which is busy and lots of music around the clock.

We've now flown through Tocumen Airport a couple times on...
We've now flown through Tocumen Airport a couple times on Copa Airlines on our way from the U.S. to David (and on to Boquete and Volcán) and back. We are not fluent Spanish speakers, but most of the signs are in Spanish and English and many of the staff are bilingual, which greatly eased our figuring out where to go to catch our flight. Entry through Immigration and Customs went smoothly and our luggage has arrived undamaged each time (we did use Air Tags just in case). Returning home was equally smooth - baggage check was easy and Security moved everyone along at an agreeable pace. No surprises. There are plenty of shops and restaurants at the airport if you need to grab something to eat. One proviso: We flew Copa Airlines back to the U.S. and they required us to pass through a second Security check at the departure gate. I'm not entirely sure as to the rationale for this, but it went without a hiccup and we boarded and departed on time. So far, our experiences flying through Tocumen have been positive, unlike what we encountered back in the U.S. at Dulles, which I would absolutely recommend avoiding at all costs if possible due to poor and confusing signage and angry and surly TSA agents.

Quite a long drive up the moutain so I thought it made sense to stay at least 2 nights instead of just one. Two, max three nights I would say. Very isolated and peaceful but nothing to do for more than 2/3days. Walks, hikes, waterfalls, eating, sleeping, relaxing. That's it , nothing else to do there

There is something here for everyone. Lots to do and see. The food is plentiful, delicious, and very affordable. Transportation is very user friendly although you can walk almost anywhere. Panama City is amazing!

It's about 30 minutes car ride to Panama city, and I loved everything we did. Panama Canal, visited monkey islands, beautiful islands, old town .… great seafood, Columbian food ..enjoyed every food we ate.

Very affordable living, everything was reasonably priced. The Albrook Mall experience was spectacular...I have never been to a mall as large as this before; lovely place to shop for everything! The view of the city when lit up at night is gorgeous, and I love my experience at the Panama Canal.
