Roughly a 20 minute walk from the airport and another 20 walk to the port. The location is nice if you are not renting a car. The place is well equipped with everything you need. The hosts are very responsive. The property is pretty price though.

Great customer service and communication. Don’t expect the Hilton. The room AC is great , ceiling fan could make a plane fly and the water was hot as hot can get .

We spent two days here to explore and provision our yacht charter. I had a hard time finding the Bellevue and the manager came down to Dream Yacht to have us follow her back. The property is on a hill and has a great view of the sea. The room was clean and the mattresses were very comfortable. A nice quiet outside seating. One downside is no A/C. But there are powerful fans that keep the air moving and I had no trouble sleeping.
We left our hats behind and the manager will bring them to Dream Yachts when we are done. This is not an upscale hotel but a more rustic peaceful setting. Knowing French would be helpful but I got along fine with Google translator.

For me, Utoroa is not really a place to go for tourists but...
For me, Utoroa is not really a place to go for tourists but more of a stopover to get groceries. It is hard to get around so you need to hire a car. Check the store hours as they close during the day. There are some walks but it is hard to find out information. Restaurants/cafes are very limited.

Super location.
Super location. On the broader Tahaa island, we visited the “Vallée de la Vanille”, la ferme perlière “Love Here”, we dived at the “Au phil du temps” spot and went also diving at the “jardin du corail” next to the motu Tutae, which was an outstanding experience thanks to our host Lorenzo. We ate at the “Top food” restaurant which I recommend and rented our car at “Monique location” which I also recommend.

I loved how chill and beautiful Uturoa is.
I loved how chill and beautiful Uturoa is. I rented a car and drove around to see the sites and did a lagoon tour, and I felt like between those things and exploring the small town, it was enough for me. I could've always done another tour or hiking, too.

Very nice people, friendly, helpful, smiling. Small town, easy to find your way. Laid back and easy going. No stress. Beautiful lagoons, vivid colors, fantastic sunsets. Fun to walk through the little town and get a feeling of the place. Great little shop on the waterfront, it's a little French pastry shop called BonApetahi, many yummy delicious pastries made by someone who is very well versed in French baking and using the local aromas to make a delightful union of deliousness.
