Papua New GuineaMy husband and two girls love the newly built one bedroom apartment. The couch in the living room can be turned into a bed. My 10 year old stayed for free. The staff was friendly and attentive. The unit was clean and has everything we needed. We brought a container of some of the things we thought we would need, such as toiletries and kitchenware. But we didn't use them as most of the common things were provided. The compound was clean, quiet, and has a car park, too. The compound is secured. There are two large containers of water in the unit as standby should water cut off is experienced. It was a great experience and we loved it. We recommend this place to any traveler looking for a comfortable space, which is also cheaper than other places and makes you feel at home.

So many things for varying tastes. A coffee bar for those who like Starbucks-like machine coffee and snacks. A super drinks lounge with (usually) rugby playing on massive screens, but, if you don’t like rugby, you can still enjoy an intimate drink in the place. Spa was great. Pool was great.

Papua New Guinea is a truly unique and distinctive country, and visitors should be mindful of the overall costs involved. In addition to the visa fee, there are also departure charges, including a climate change levy, which add to the total expense of traveling in and out of the country. From my personal experience, I felt that the cost of services was relatively high compared to what is provided, which may be disappointing for some travellers if expectations are not managed in advance.

Getting to know from expat community that Holiday Inn was worst in every way and even much cheaper but higher quality hotels were available. No one wants to come to Holiday Inn for food since it’s lousiest in the city.

For those who wish to have a diving trip.
For those who wish to have a diving trip. Recommended to stay for 3days 2nights at least. Boat leave on 8am return 1pm ~ 2boat dives per day.
If you reach very early like 7am then might just nice. Else highly recommend for 3days2nights trip. More relax and enjoy trip.

All along I was of the impression the city of Port Moresby...
All along I was of the impression the city of Port Moresby is concentrate in an area with its CBD. I later found out the city of Port Moresby is scattered in a large land area. It was interesting to learning that the lifestyle to much more related to the lifestyle back in Vanuatu therefore I always feel at home while visiting PNG for the first time and hope to make more visit in the future.

Overall is good to me.
Overall is good to me. The staffs are very helpful, friendly. Weather is good. Convenience for me to go to the island with transport provided.
Food need to be improved. If possible can add some more menu so that we have more choices for asian. Food too salty, cannot fix my taste. Room view is satisfy to me.
Enjoy very much of the stay.

The Airways Hotel truly exceeded my expectations for a transit hotel while having a layover in POM. The grounds are extremely safe, the staff was wonderful and the restaurant and cafe was perfect after our initial experience at the Gateway hotel upon our arrival to POM. I would put the Airways Hotel as the TOP transit hotel I’ve ever stayed in and would not think twice about returning and spending more time on the property!

A great option for a stay in Moresby. There are numerous food and drink options that are all good - while we all wish it was easier to move around POM, it isn't, and in the meantime don't hesitate to use this hotel.
