Best value ever for your money but Surigao is not a nice place. This place is a great place to be a home body for a few days before or after spend time on Siargao Island. Bonus: there is a bodega across the way that I bought from many times: eggs, beer, pancakes mix, laundry detergent, sugar.

I had checked out and got a phone call from the hotel letting me know I had forgotten my shorts with a large amount of cash inside. Very honest staff that the owner should be very proud of!! Highly recommended!!

The place is quite big. It can easily accommodate 10 - 20 person. It was clean and there's a lot of sitting capacity, this is actually good for events such as parties. The bathroom is clean and large as well. There's a kitchen where you can cook and complete with utensils too.
Kuya (sorry, I'm not good with names), his very accommodating, he took his time to tour us with the place. And is very responsive with our queries.

Nothing much but surfing. Some popular restaurants are hype.
Nothing much but surfing. Some popular restaurants are hype. The French bakery near the Surf area serves really really good breadz croissants, sourdough and other food. The burger place we went to is much much better than shake shack. The coffee place we tried serves much much better coffee than starbucks and zus.

Surigao is recovering from damage caused by typhoon Odette. I suggest waiting a year or so before visiting here. It was rainy and windy during our visit so not fair to comment.
Did not feel safe to walk around at night. We observed many blatant drug users along the Seawall opposite our hotel.
