The cozy hotel and clean rooms, plumbing, furniture, textiles are in excellent condition. Pet friendly. Free public parking near the hotel. There are many restaurants around. Breakfast is included, and a friendly staff member greets you there. A very pleasant staff member at the reception helped us prepare all the documents about our stay.

Ana was super helpful. We loved the old rustic look of the farm along with all the new updates. Jack, the border collie was the best boy! He would come by to visit and wait to be invited in. They provided the best breakfast that we have had in years at b&b. They also provided mountain bikes to go riding down to the river on.

Our room was clean and cozy. They put us on the first floor so no stairs which was very nice. The staff was extremely nice, and in fact helped me to pay a parking ticket on online using his phone.
Everything was very nice and they even had a nice parking area at the hotel, which for cities is rare/
Definitely recommend staying here.

Excellent restaurants! Braga is known for its restaurants.
Excellent restaurants! Braga is known for its restaurants. I had one of the best meals in my life at Green Harvest (though it is pricy, I thought it was worth the cost. Others who are not looking for something downright startling but wonderful might not agree but)--they made a beet dish that I absolutely adored. And I HATE beets.
Braga is a smallish, easy to walk/navigate town with a lot of good restaurants, some very sites, and a cool and tranquil vibe. We were sitting at a cafe and a student group from the university showed up and did a music/dance performance. I am told there are more festivals in Braga than anywhere else in Portugal, but we were there in January so there weren't any during that time.

It has a lot of history, with older churches and castle fortresses. Very walkable and scenic. I was told by a Portuguese local early in my trip that Braga has a lot of older retirees visit and reside there, and that's accurate. I found Braga affordable, although housing costs can be too much.

A small city north of Porto, with a lot of history and attractions. Plenty of shops, cafes, old churches, and restaurants, but the bar scene is lacking. There are many senior citizens here, since it's one of the more affordable and lovable parts of Portugal.
I like kebab restaurants, but otherwise cooked for myself in hostel kitchens.
