You might look that is located outside of the city. As a world traveller who visited 294 countries, as a schooled sommelier in Miami, i can tell you that from the booking, welcoming, accomodation it was more than 10 star experience.
I would highly recommend the location! The words can not describe the accomodation, the staff, the owners and the facilities! It is absolutely amazing! This is one of the best reviews i have ever made!

Close to the city center, clean, ok staff (outside of check-in we didn't really have any contact with them), clean room.
We only stayed one night and really only for a quick shower and sleep, so no idea about anything else.

The Christmas market is a scam!
The Christmas market is a scam! Buy food at other restaurants, better and bigger portions for less! Ribs House in particular was a great restaurant, very friendly and welcoming with amazing food, must try the Papanași.

Craiova is a beatufil city with a great combination of modern and old. You can easily find any and all modern amenities - top-notch public transport, shopping centers and malls, exquisite restaurants and fancy hotels. If you have the time to take a stroll through town, you'll be amazed by all the perfectly preserved and renovated old buildings, dozens of cultural monuments and greatly maintained parks and public areas. The main downside is the over-abundance of cars - traffic's a pain! Good thing their public transport is very convenient and the city is very walkable!

Craiova is really only worth visiting during the Christmas...
Craiova is really only worth visiting during the Christmas market. Aside from that, from what I could see, there isn’t much that’s particularly worth visiting or seeing. Nicolae Romanescu Park might be worth a visit, but definitely not in winter — there is very little foliage and too many birds on the branches, which creates a real chance of getting hit by droppings. There is also a zoo in the park, and the animals can be seen from the park.
