Cozy little hotel with clean and nice rooms. Excellent place to stay near Brasov, for a couple of days in this wonderful countryside. Easy to find, nice staff, very very quiet, since it is in the center of a small town, ca. 100 m from the historical church-fortress.

We stayed in this beautiful house for just one night, but it was more than enough to realize what a perfect place it is. The house is very clean, spacious, and fully equipped with everything a family might need. The kids absolutely loved the pool — it was safe, clean, and a lot of fun.
The area is extremely quiet and peaceful, perfect for relaxing. One of the best moments was sitting in the garden at night, enjoying the fresh air and the stunning view of the illuminated "Brașov" sign on the mountain — truly magical!
I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for comfort, beauty, and a family-friendly atmosphere. It exceeded all our expectations.

Brasov is a city close to my heart.
Brasov is a city close to my heart.
Even though i came here many times, i still find some new things to explore: hidden coffee shops, undiscovered streets to walk, new houses to stare at, new restaurants to try out, new local breweries to get drunk into.
This is on top of revisiting the old things i know and enjoy every time in the city.
The running contests are also an occasion for me to pay a visit.

Our stay was absolutely perfect!
Our stay was absolutely perfect! Host is the definition of a super host — their communication was prompt, friendly, and they made us feel welcome from the minute we booked. The accommodation was spotless and immaculately clean; truly five-star cleanliness. We had an all-around wonderful experience and highly recommend this place to everyone. We'll definitely be back!

i felt it was not really a village more like a few houses gathered along the road.
A lot of locals and farmers seen around so it is not deserted
roads under construction
We had the to let cows and horses pass in front of us a few times
Its 20 minutes from Brasov center and good access to the main roads

Great base for traveling over to Brasov, Bran Castle, Rasnov Fort, Dino Park
Much more chilled area.
Wonderful La Prominada restaurant down the road.
Playground inside & outside, lovely staff and will deliver food to guest house.
Also lovely walk in forest just beside there.
Rasnov Fort is closed. But still a fun adventure to go up into the outer walls. Lift or walk up steps.
Go to Dino Park just beside on the same day I suggest.

Quaint, medieval Saxon city 15 minute away from Brasov.
Quaint, medieval Saxon city 15 minute away from Brasov. It has its own magnificent fortified 13th century monastery that hosts beautiful events throughout the year.
The town is quiet and beautiful, famous for its cuts of meat and hospitality. Ubers go in and out of it to go to the city centre of Brasov if you enjoy the nightlife, but it has its own charm if you want to just chill in the countryside. The air smells of the mountains, and the water tastes like wine.

The location is near the Piatra Mare hiking trails - Piatra Mare peak, 7 Stairs gorge, Tamina waterfalls and gorge, etc. There were several warnings in the woods, remembering tourists how to prepare for encounters with wild brown bears, but luckily we haven't encountered any. The new Piatra Mare cabin was a a welcome surprise, offering traditional bean soup (very tasty) and some drinks and snacks, but sadly the other cabins in the area were abandoned. Good signs and markings on the trails, except at Tamina gorge - no sign was showing tourists to descend on the path to the right and than turn left at the creek to enter the gorge and climb the stairs through the gorge, then go up the hill to arrive at the starting location (no markings or signposts around and at the gorge).

Beautiful place to escape to for some quiet, and just a 20-minute bus ride to the historic center of Brasov. It's also a quick taxi ride to a couple of caves and historical sites near Rasnov. Lots of hiking and a gorgeous spa -- basically, something for everyone.
Restaurants along the main road/lake area play loud pop/folk music constantly, so if quiet is important to you, book further up the road.
Be prepared that dining options are limited and a bit expensive as it's a resort town, but you have grocery stores and more restaurant variety nearby in the city for a pinch.

Nice quiet town with medieval fortress, situated near the largest city in the region, Brasov, with its beautiful Old Town, and near Bran Castle.
A car is recommended for getting around, although train and bus links are available daily for Brasov.
Situated between mountain ranges, with lots of hiking trails in the area. It's a great accommodation option if you want to go skiing, with nearest resorts in Poiana Brasov and Predeal.
It hosts Romania's biggest ski jumping center, a regular venue in the World Cup in recent years.

One of the best cities to visit, not only from Romania, but from Europe. it's small and not that crowded as other European cities. the historical city is fabulous. you can find great hotels and apartments with very good prices. Food is amassing. plenty or restaurants, pub, bars. you have a good vibe by visiting it.
it is surrounded by mountains and there are top hill restaurants with fantastic views around (Panoramic). It's close to famous mountains resorts, so in 30 min you can reach out Poiana Brasov and easily get to 1800m.
