Very kind hosts here! I had an early morning flight, and above and beyond they drove me to the airport. Ideally, this accommodation would be perfect if you had a rental car. Inside, everything is absolutely immaculate. A good A/C is in the bedroom. I didn’t use the kitchen, but it seemed to be well equipped. I would happily stay here again.

Marie-Aline, the owner of MARL Self Catering was very...

Marie-Aline, the owner of MARL Self Catering was very helpful and kind. She drove me to the supermarket and Eden Island for free. The apartment was very clean, well decorated and equipped as well as spacious. The location is very quiet, the planes do not make any disturbance. Very close to a bus stop going to Mahé and also a nice little beach only 5 minutes by bus. I highly recommend MARL.

There is a small island across from SPV on Cerf, and...

There is a small island across from SPV on Cerf, and snorkelling to the RHS of that island, just beyond the reef is excellent. Richard and Kate are doing maintenance work on SPV and have cut a short walk to a great sundowner spot above SPV - make sure you walk up there. The option to kayak around Cerf takes about 90 minutes to 2 hours and is also recommended - but if the wind is up, then make sure you are two people in one kayak, otherwise your stretch into the wind could be tough. Cerf Island is an idyllic island on which to be based, and SPV is the perfect base for 3-5 days out of a 7-10 day experience in Seychelles.

There are many places across the Mahe island to see and to...

There are many places across the Mahe island to see and to visit e.g. Anse Marie Louise Beach or trail to Anse Petit Marie-Louise. To have and excellent food there are Kafe Kreol Cafe&Restaurant at Anse Royale or Island Cafe at Grand Anse Village. Rent a car is the freedom for travelling around the island or all the way and all the time public bus transport is very frequent there. Snorkeling, swimming, sun bathing and doing anything you would like to do :-)

Nice island with everything what you need.

Nice island with everything what you need. On east coast it was quiet and not much turists on the beaches but beaches they self were amazing. The most attended beach is Beau Vallon but also very beautiful long beach with white sand. Recomend to rent a car and ride around all beaches.

It's a beautiful setting with 4 beaches that you can alternate. The gardens are very well maintained and the staff are most friendly. We had troubles at first with faulty buggies that did not charge but eventually all was settled

I recommend to carry cash.

I recommend to carry cash. From the Airport to Anse Boileu taxi will charge you maximum 800 Seychelles Rupees which is around 55USD. There is no taxi service like in most of the countries to catch taxi in the street even in Capital City Victoria. Taxi is on call and 1 trip will cost you min 500 Seychelles Rupees. 100 Seychelles Rupees fee when using ATM. Local bus charges 25 Seychelles Rupees per person. Local shops use card and have mostly all what you need. Road is very narrow and need to be very cautious when driving around. The Seychelles is right side driving country. Water sports quite expensive, for example a Jet ski (1200 Seychelles Rupees 83usd per 30 minutes). Seychelles has lot to offer to visit and explore and view is like in paradise and local community is very friendly.

Perfectly located midway on east coast.

Perfectly located midway on east coast. 15 minutes from airport, lovely beach almost to yourself. Small supermarkets close by for supplies. Close to Anse Royale , spice garden ,golf and Takamaka distillery .

Lovely island to snorkel and kayak.

Lovely island to snorkel and kayak. You can go for a short hike. No vehicles on the island. Great place if you want to relax. Sole repairing and quiet. We had dinner at Villa de Cerf every night which was excellent.

First of all it's located not far from the airport which is a big advantage taking into account the narrow road. It's a quiet place, we didn't see other people on the beach, we were always swimming alone and having all this paradise place just for ourselves. There are many small food shops aroud within short walking distance. There are nice restaurants nearby, very good food of different kind. Out choice was Greenhouse, we thought it was the best. Walking along the toad is not so comfortable, but you get used to it very quckly.

The people of Mahe are wonderful. Foods vwere good. The city was clean everywhere. Weather was good and favourable. The appartment was also free and confortable. The owner took good care of her clients. She is friendly.
