The hotel is right at the entrance in Kiruna, from south, and it has a very imposing architecture, the bar at the 12th floor offering an amazing view until far distance. At the ground floor there are the lounge/bar and the restaurant, with great food options (buffet for breakfast and a-la-carte for dinner). Also there is a gym at 11th floor with basic but enough utilities for most needs. at 12th floor there's a sky-bar which exceeds the view and I fully recommend. The room was very spacious and with comfy beds, nice and clean bathroom. The daily cleaning is not by-default, if you need cleaning one day you need to ask at the reception. A special mention for the very helpful and supportive staff, both at reception and at bar/restaurant. We really liked it and fully recommend!

Stig was super friendly and picked me up from the airport at quite a short notice and even though my flight was over an hour delayed. The common areas were clean, warm and nice and the room as well. The location was quiet and it is possible to see the northern lights from it. Stig pointed out helpful information on how I could best see them. There is a cute reindeer outside that is getting some extra care because it's too old to survive with the wild herd.

The little cozy apartment build as addition between the main house and the garage is really good value. Nothing fancy but made and decorated with care. It is simple but has a well equipped kitchenette with fridge, microwave, water kettle. 2 beds and a restroom with sink and toilette. We did not use the shower which is in the basement of the landlords house. Landlord and son were very friendly and helpful.
