I never cooked at a "hotel" kitchen, since it was always a bit inconvenient or messy or dirty or I missed some condiments etc. This place is perfect in that aspect. walked into town, took 25 minutes in a calm quiet neighborhood. 5 minutes from the water-side by foot. recommended!

Dating back to the late 1800s, this elegant hotel is a 10-minute walk from Söderhamn Train Station. Its modern rooms offer views of the Town Hall Square or the peaceful inner courtyard. Upgraded to a suite, it was lovely and very reasonable. Big room with seating area, lobby and had a fan! Hotel had a restaurant, ( we did not go) breakfast was very good. Great hotel would recommend.

What a “gem” of a hotel. The hotel had so many personal touches and reflects the personally of its owners. We loved that the hotel is in old Vickery and that only added to its charm. Sadly their chef was ill otherwise we would have dinner there, instead we at a tremendous local restaurant by the water run by young entrepreneurial fellows. That recommendation, the services and walk to the town lookout were all highlights. We strongly recommend this hotel.

The beds were comfortable, bathroom and kitchen was clean. On the parking place they had playground and some toys. The host was really helpful as he send us back something valuable for us that we forgot in the room Highly recommend!
