The people in reception were very helpful, although the frequent blackouts in Sao Tomé make their life rather complicated. A place close to the airport. Good breakfast despite of early time of our departure.

Location was wonderful. Laurindo took care of the transfers as it is impossible to use a rental car to get there, and took us, for a fee, to town for dinner one night. There was no charge for our transfer from and to the airport. Laurendino also took us to a supermarket before taking us to the Ocean View. One needs to get groceries. He also was kind to arrange two boat trips to Goat Island. We were lucky to have the whole Guesthouse including the kitchen for ourselves. We enjoyed our stay! Thank you, Laurendino!

He is intelligent, flexible, and adapts the itinerary perfectly to your timing. His mother also cooked dinner for me — a delicious and authentic local meal that I appreciated so much. If you plan to stay here, don’t forget to ask him to arrange your tours; he genuinely offers the best options. The room is clean, tidy, air-conditioned, and has hot water. It’s an excellent choice overall.
