Clean, comfortable room. Bathroom was clean and everything worked. Wifi worked fine. Staff were friendly and helpful. Located just outside airport, and we found the free airport shuttle bus, which was very helpful. Fantastic spread for breakfast with hot and cold options. Decent value for money, especially considering public transport into Izmir is close by. We couldn't fault it.

We stayed here twice, once the day we landed and the second time the night before, because we got in very late and left early. The hotel is very well situated inside the terminal, the rooms are comfortable and very well furnished.
Check-in and check-out are quick. I would definitely stay here again.

It’s a 5 star level hotel in terms of the room, cleanliness and breakfast. I really enjoyed the variety of food at breakfast. The location is also amazing because it is so easy to find when you get off at Gaziemir tram station. Lots of shops nearby and you can reach Izmir airport in about 30mins by trams.

Izmir can be a jumping off point for other Turkish adventures, as it was for me on a side trip to Kappadokya and Pamukkale. But it's close connection to Turkiye's founding, Ataturk, makes it interesting in its own right. I went to a traveling exhibition of Miro's works here. The Ascansor provides a nice place for a dinner and drink. Shopping on Cypress street, or taking the short harbor ferry to Karsikaya (sp?) are great, as is the bazaar. The Ataturk museum, the train museum across the street from Alsancak Gar, are also pleasant places to view the origins of Turkish history.

There is no so much to see, nothing really special although...
There is no so much to see, nothing really special although people is really nice and friendly. Esmirna ruins are small, the clock tower is OK but it won't change your life, bazaar is nice... Efeso is reachable from the town and train and buses work really well; the best is the people and the weather about the Aegean sea

The location of the hotel is perfect if you are visiting the Unuversity. Otherwise, you will need a taxi or take the Tram for visiting the city or to have dinner/Lunch.
It was clear that the hotel has not seeing any upgrade/renovation for sometime. The rooms are old in need of some serious renovation. the Lift workd but bearly. The halls are dark in need of better lighting. The satff was kind and very helpfull.

Horseshoe shaped Izmir City is beautifully located around the bay and surrounded by rolling green hills. I especially enjoyed walking on the harbour promenade and watching the ferry traffic and sunsets from my hotel room with a full view of the bay.

The Old Town Agora and the Hotel - amazing. Izmir is extremely well located to head out early and explore Ephesus.
We should have stayed another day and taken some boat cruises and organised a private guide to showcase the city to us... but we just ran out of time.
