The Sumela Monastery is a must see.
The Sumela Monastery is a must see. But the bonus is the breathtaking views on the drive up to the Monastry. Nearby Rize and the tea farm is beautiful. But the peace de resistance has to be Ayder. Like the Swiss Alps with its unique Turkish culture. The views is not to be missed. The snow capped mountains with its mountain streams and the “Devil river” used for Riverafting. Lots of construction on the roads, building more tunnels.
The construction of the houses, apartments along the mountain slopes, is Engineering perfection.

For any families with children, visiting Trabzon and want to...
For any families with children, visiting Trabzon and want to be close to the airport, but still close to the market and downtown, this is your perfect place. We got in late and didn’t try, but you might even walk the market from here- thats how close it was.
The apartment was extremely clean, spacious, and comfortable and all the amenities were available. The host greeted us promptly and was really helpful.
