They made cleaning and changed towels after one day, varied breakfast. Staff very nice and also arranged taxi to airport.

Amazing location, felt like we were the only tourists on this beautiful island filled with spectacular nature. It was really good to see tides in action in this remote location, away from tourist-filled main island of Zanzibar.

Basically we liked everything about it: the location is remarkable and everything is done to live up to its potential.

Beautiful, quiet spot - exactly what we wanted. Great food and lots of it. Super easy to arrange day trips and make plans. Dennis, the owner, made us feel right at home. Actually one of our favorite parts about staying here was dinner and conversations with Dennis and another guest there at the same time - it felt like we were staying with friends:)

Emerald Bay Resort is located in Chokocho village in the south of Pemba. Surrounded by tropical vegetation, this Arabic-styled resort faces a characteristic natural port. We’ve been to the North and South of Pemba and Emerald Bay was our favourite place. The daily boat tours and excursions in this stunning place were fantastic. Luca showed us his favourite hidden beaches and sandbanks, and how to move through the bay according to the tides. These have been the warmest, clearest, and most spectacular beaches we've ever been in. The hotel meals are amazing, including lots of fresh local fruits and italian-swahili inspired dishes at dinner. The owner Luca will take excellent care of you and the staff is also very kind and attentive.

Pemba Lodge is an eco-friendly resort offering bungalows made out of recycled boats and natural local materials. everything, especially omar made our trip very easy and comfortable.

Pemba Paradise features an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Makangale. There is a restaurant serving African cuisine, and free private parking is available. Staff were very nice and helpful. Our room was very comfortable and spacious. We stayed in the premium rooms. Property has recently gone through a renovation and is quite nice and a good value compared to the other two options in the area. They are really trying to create a nice experience for guests. They had scooters for rent to explore the area. Nice beach to walk during low tide. It’s a nice option in an area that has limited options.

The Aiyana Resort and Spa offers accommodation in Verani and features a restaurant. The resort has a year-round outdoor pool and views of the sea, and guests can enjoy a drink at the bar. Very Clean, staff was phenomenal, not very crowed pool at our villa

Located near the village of Makangale in North Pemba, Gecko Nature Lodge Home of Swahili Divers the BEST dive center and Famous Gecko Restaurant features a dive centre. A home away from home. The place is very remote and quiet. For nature lovers, it is a real paradise. Coconut crabs right on the property and many bush babies around at night. Food is excellent and staff very friendly and helpful. We went there to do our scuba certification and Mike the owner is the best teacher you can have. We stayed a week but wish we could have stayed longer.
