Roanoke is a cute little town.

Roanoke is a cute little town. We only stayed one night, because we were seeing Dr. Phil. This house is perfect for seeing Dr. Phil as it is only 4 minutes from his studio. We ate downtown on Main Street. The day we were there all the shops closed at 6:00pm so we didn't get to visit any.

We booked this hotel because in booking.com said that it is at 0.3 miles from DFW. Which is not true. It is at 11 miles. The hotel representative in the front desk claimed to be new so she couldn't answer any of our questions. Like at what time the restaurant close or where can we get a taxi to the airport. Last but not least, this hotel claims to have a restaurant open until midnight. We placed an order around 9pm just as directed in the front desk when we checked in. When we showed up 30 minutes later to pick up the restaurant order, the lady in the restaurant said that she did not received any order, that the person in the front desk should have sent it to the restaurant, thing that did not happened. Then the lady in the restaurant told us that she did not have 3 out of 4 things that we ordered. They only had pizza. What a disappointed experience.

I absolutely did not like anything about this hotel.

I absolutely did not like anything about this hotel. It is outdated.Everything should be replaced.The room smelt so bad like someone died in it Is drug deals going around you. I would not recommend this place to anyone who has any class. Most horrible place i've ever looked at had to go somewhere else and stay. Do not stay at this place.It is gorgeous.

I loved how clean everything was.

I loved how clean everything was. The breakfast was phenomenal. So many choices.The fitness center was great. We didn't take advantage of the pool but maybe next time. The staff was very nice. They upgraded our room the next day and it was just amazing. Plenty of parking which was perfect since we had a rental.

Excellent!!

Excellent!! The property is very clean inside and out surprisingly beautiful being a pet friendly place and there was a lot of guests with dogs! but you would’ve never known it walking down the halls and around the grounds very well-kept!!

Front desk staff was very rude and disrespectful to me as I checked in, she pre judged me by my appearance. As a result she treated me badly, because I prepaid online, I was told it was I refundable. I was also asked to pay a 30$ holding fee on top of the room charges, which were not confirmed on line.

We usually stay at the Holiday Inn Express by the racetrack, they were booked so tried the one in Roanoke. Glad we did very nice little area to stroll through. Restaurants, bars, bakeries and shops. Very relaxing after a days drive.

The employees can not communicate and they don't listen.

The employees can not communicate and they don't listen. The morning lady that answers the phones can not be understood. As I said I asked her 4-5 times to slow down and speak clearly. She could not do that. She was offended that I could not understand her. Her accent was very strong. I was patient and considerate. She was not. The afternoon/evening young man needs his device taken away from him. Never got a wake up call that I requested TWICE. This is my second stay here and the exact same things happened. The daytime employee kept texting while I was talking to him. Ridiculous! This is a problem of training. You or whoever is in charge of training have failed in the simplest basic training. It is easily fixed. I seriously doubt you will follow up and correct these simple issues. But, Prove me wrong. Breakfast was awful but, I grab something elsewhere. BTW, I hate complaining and very rarely ever complain about anything. FYI, Your employees are just punching a clock. They really don't care. Koodos... The room was clean.
