Beautiful town, with lots of activities that vary from going to the beautiful beach for relaxing or shelling to shopping. The city has really good infrastructure, with excellent roads and avenues, amazing restaurants and shopping experiences.

Beautiful setting,very quiet,which suited us very well..car is definitely a must ,even for goin to breakfast,signage could be better to find the accommodation,but we managed;all in all a great place to stay and would highly recommend The Lely Resort.

Naples is a great place to go for a relaxed and calm...
Naples is a great place to go for a relaxed and calm vacation by the coast. The beaches are excellent and some of the houses are amazing! Lowdermilk beach is a must - as is Marco Island. Gordon Drive is a great street to cruise down to see the expensive homes by the sea. This can also be done by hiring a boat to see them from the water. Parking is available in most places for free - but the closer you get to the beach, there will be a cost (around $5 per hr in some places - a flat $10 in others).

I live in Boca Raton, A transplant from New Jersey 22 years. We both still work so our get-a-ways are important. I love where I live but I must say the west coast of Florida is my heart especially NAPLES. Very refined, peaceful, a place with many amenities and lots to do.
We ate at THE TURTLE CLUB at THE VANDERBILT BEACH RESORT - Outstanding! and of course a stop at TOMMY BAHAMA on 3rd for lunch was a given, When Alex Fox, the Spanish guitarist is in at town, dinner at VERGINA on 5th is a Must Go. Sigh - Can't wait to get back!
