Enjoyed a wonderful stay at LaPlaya Beach Resort. We used Uber for all of our travels in Naples and it was very efficient. Dined at J Alexander's with friends. The bar is great and the food also very good. We spent time in old Naples. We were disappointed with our experience at Campiellos Italian restaurant. We had heard great reviews and had reservations at 7 for a Friday eve. When we arrived the hostess proceeded to take us from the main dining room to what I would call the overflow room. It didn't even look as nice as my local pizzeria. Unlike the main dining room there were no tablecloths and the air conditioning did not appear to be working properly. They had table fans blowing and they were going to sit us at a table with a fan blowing at us from the table next to us. We asked to be seated in the main dining room and that we would wait but she was adamant there were no openings. We left. I am writing this to make others aware if they are making reservations to be sure and ask where they will be seated. We dine out often in New York City and we have never encountered this type of situation where the management could not accommodate. We proceeded to Sea Salt a beautiful restaurant across the street from Campiellos where they graciously invited us in and we had a wonderful evening with great service and positive attitude accompanied with great drinks and food. Old Naples is also great if you like to shop. Highly recommended!

Naples is a very quaint and beautiful city. It’s a great place if you’d like to look at nice things and you aren’t into a super big and busy city. We went to the botanical gardens and it was great very good for pictures. We were able to also go over to Marco Island the same day and we enjoyed the beach and good food. Naples is a good place to go during the summertime when many other cities in Florida are super busy and crowded. The beaches are phenomenal!ChandraUnited States - Scored 8.08.0

Beautiful, upscale, safe town.
Beautiful, upscale, safe town. Half an hour from the airport (RSW). Amazing beaches with easy public access. Great dining options. Not a party scene for the youngsters, which helps preserve the tranquility of the place.
