Close proximity to the Mesa airport, with hotel shuttle available 24/7. Hotel was very well kept, staff was excellent, room was clean, quiet, and well appointed. Heat and air conditioning worked well. Wide selection of TV channels. Had coffee maker and microwave in the room. Breakfast included but our flight was too early to take advantage of this and score. Check in and check out were quick and easy. Restaurant on site, but is only available for dinner. Golf course is next door and our room was overlooking the course. Pool on site was very clean and had a good number of lounge chairs around the pool. We were not able to take advantage of this and evaluate it further. If you want a different restaurant, there are none within easy walking distance. Would highly recommend this hotel for anyone needing a stay with shuttle service to/from Mesa Airport. Bedding was clean and comfortable. One of the best hotels I've stayed in.

When I encountered a parking problem upon arrival, I called the phone number provided with the location email, and the owner answered and helped me. It was very nice to speak to a human and get the help I needed. The neighbors are nice too. I needed a bottle opener. Couldn't find one in the casita but a neighbor was eager to help me. A big smile and many thank you's go a long way late at night. Hint: Never bother the tenants at your vacation rental. It's just a common courtesy.

The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. There were lots of towels and the washer/dryer was great to have. The pool was wonderful and beautifully kept. The beds are not full size, they're actually queen and incredibly soft. The pull out bed in the living room area is not the most comfortable but the couches are. The hosts are very responsive and take beautiful care of their property.

It appears to be an up-and coming area with a lot of newly-built or in-progress properties. Nice wide roads and not a lot of traffic congestion. Great views of the mountains when driving around town. It definitely is a car driver's town. I am not knowledgeable as regards public transportation. The area I was in had convenience stores, a local brew-pub, gas stations, hotels, and other businesses. There were a lot of new residential areas withing a couple of miles. Just a short drive away is the Salt River, and also a lake (which I didn't get a chance to check out). I did a small group tour of the Grand Canyon/Sedona through Detours (ask for Mark L.) and kayaked the Salt River. Both excursions were enough to make me want to buy a house and stay there!! Note: Gilbert is a suburb of Phoenix, but is not close enough if you plan to spend a lot of time in the city. But it is great for those that want to hit the trail!!

If you are a late diner or looking for nightlife, this isn't the place for you. Things close at 8 and it's quiet after that. The city is clean, laid out nicely, and the signage makes it easy to find roads. We went to Prospector Park and were blown away at how large it was and how nice the parking lots and trails were. The play area was appealing to kids and they offer a StoryWalk, something new to us and it was fun (designed for young children but the 14yo was amused to read each stop). We also traveled out of town to Lost Dutchman Museum. We went through the gift shop but had arrived close to closing so we did not see the indoor museum. We did walk the outdoor paths and saw various plants and cacti (many are labeled) and went to the top of the hill to view Superstition Mountain. We read about the 2011 plane crash and happened to be there on the 14th anniversary so it felt different to view it. They offer various events daily but even without those the exhibits were very informative. We stayed an hour and could have stayed an hour or two more, there is a lot to take in.

The front desk staff was excellent, as was General Manager Ron. However, I experienced repeated issues with privacy. Multiple times throughout the week and daily (roughly three times a day) housekeeping entered the room while my underage children were present, including instances when they were still sleeping.
I was informed that weekly cleaning would be the only time they would enter and I already had that two days prior; that staff would enter only at those times. Unfortunately, there was no knocking or identification—housekeeping simply walked in, which was concerning. I am worried about my children being disturbed or put in an uncomfortable situation, especially since I had communicated that I preferred no one enter the room outside of scheduled cleaning sessions. I was assured that no one would enter without permission, which was not my experience. They do not have signs that states "Do not disturb."
Regarding the front desk team, they are truly outstanding. As for the pricing, I believe it may be somewhat on the higher side compared to the value offered. On a positive note, the location is perfect, front desk employee are truly phenomenal!

Gilbert is a "small town" next to a big city. The location of the property we stayed in was super handy with access to anything we needed. We avoided the 6-8 lane interstates by using the main local roads all the time. Easy travel on 3-lane main arteries.

Hotel room was filthy see attached pictures. Stains on sheets and comforter, a/c unit full of dust, stains on chair, numerous stains on carpet, dirty bathroom. Room smelled soo musty. Sadly we had to stay due to it being a holiday weekend and everything was booked.
There was a plunger sitting in the hallway my entire stay. I got locked out of my room 3 times. Once at 4:30am. I waited almost an hour and no one was at the front desk. See attached images. I even tried calling multiple times.
My sister ended up leaving her friends to unlock with her room key. Check out states 11am. Had them banging on my door at 10:30am When I didn’t answer they attempted to force entry again at 10:45am…
