The Bedford Motel is in a good location and is an excellent value. The staff is fine.
The room was dated and the bathroom was dirty, with hair in the sink and shower.
If you are on a limited budget and don't have the highest standards, the Bedford Motel will suit your needs admirably.
The excellent ice cream store and lovely copper beech tree right next to the property are an added bonus.

We just came down for the night to see a concert in Boston. The rooms were clean and neat. The staff was friendly.
Unfortunately I didn't check right away, and when I got home I had been over charged 57.78 for the rooms. Now I need to take time out of my day to fight this.

The hotel had no lobby and tiny reception area was over busy as some guests were waiting due to double bookings.
The whole hotel was totally out of date and some area appeared unclean - stairs etc.
Room was dark and cold - heating not working.
The bed was comfortable and shower was in good working order.
The breakfast was terrible, super basic, it had just been thrown together with plastic plates and cutlery.
During our check out the reception staff were apologetic and seemed overwhelmed.

I have lived in Mass my whole life and this was my first visit. We loved it! We saw so much and learned more about the battle! We were there a week before the 250 celebration. Loved it all! The north bridge, bancroft castle, and the colonial Inn! Go explore!

The hotel and the staff were nice and friendly but the hallways and the elevators were a bit dirty. The breakfast buffet lack things depending on the hour. It was not great.
They do not clean your room just take away the trash and you have to ask for clean towels.
It was not what I expected. A bit disappointed.

An hour before 3pm we called the hotel to see if it’s possible to check in earlier, the guy that answered the phone informed us our booking has been canceled!! No explanation, just gone, in spite of our confirmation # and payment.
Meanwhile I was frantically looking up hotel availabilities in the area and discovered shockingly that many of the chain hotels cost from $299-$500/ night, some even more!
We were later told Tayler Swift concerts were to blame! Supposedly hotels in the area were booked up because of her concerts and some would cancel existing bookings to resell at much higher price!!
If true, such practice should be exposed and reported. I hope we get our money back.
