I had a wonderful experience staying at this motel in Bishop. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout my stay. The town itself is small, so everything is easy to reach, and the area around the motel feels quiet and very safe — perfect for a peaceful night’s rest. What truly impressed me happened after I checked out: about a week later, I realized I had accidentally left my AirPods in the room. When I called, the staff patiently helped me look up my reservation and the exact room I stayed in. They found my AirPods very quickly and even though they mentioned they had never mailed an item for a guest before, they promised to figure it out and call me back. Shortly after, they confirmed they would ship it on Monday — and I received it by Wednesday! I’m so grateful for their honesty, efficiency, and care. It’s rare to find such genuinely nice people running a place. I’d absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Bishop.

The Comfort Inn hotel in Bishop is surrounded by the majestic High Sierra Mountains and centrally located between Los Angeles and Reno. Very good breakfast, clean, large room, sufficient parking despite the hotel being fully booked. Friendly and helpful staff. Overall, Bishop it's a nice town. We recommend visiting Erick Schat's Bakkerÿ, where they have a large selection of unique breads by American standards (we recommend the shepherd's bread and tomato foccacia :)

In Bishop, a 2 hour drive from Yosemite National Park, this hotel offers a seasonal outdoor pool. A hot tub and gym are on site. Free Wi-Fi is included in all guest rooms. The view was breathtaking. The rooms were clean and the staff were very pleasant. They also have a full breakfast bar with REAL food. Not just day old muffins like some other hotels that state they have breakfast. I would highly recommend this place!
