Had a great stay! Very convenient for our state pool tournament. Staff were very helpful in extending our stay due to travel conditions. Only complaint is the heavy walking above us all night long and the bright spot light shining outside our window even with curtains drawn.

I did not like that my room was smelly and the carpet and...

I did not like that my room was smelly and the carpet and windowsill was the source of the issue. I tried to get a different room within about 1-2 hours. They told me they were booked out and that I couldn’t get a different room. They did move me to a different room the next day, but they did not give me anything off of my bill for having to put up with that room the first night. The other room was ok but this really put a damper on our stay.

Pool looked great in pictures but it was unfortunately out of order. Because it was a big reason for going, and I shared that with front desk, I'd have appreciated a small gesture / make up gift. The price was an incredible deal. The room was very decent, however some people next door we just so obnoxious kept screaming with no respect whatsoever for other customers. We called the front desk for some sheets for the sofa bed they never showed up.

My biggest complaint in the whole area is not seeing street...

My biggest complaint in the whole area is not seeing street names. We were looking for places to go and we're always backtracking because of it. One thrift store was very impressive It was Nice and New. Awesome place it was so well organized and great priced. Id gi back there in a heart beat. Ate at Red Robin. Good food It was pretty easy accept for seeing street signs. Yes I would like to come back.

We stayed while visiting family in the area.

We stayed while visiting family in the area. Some of our family even came to the hotel while we were there to visit with us. Rothschild is close to many things in Central Wisconsin and has a lot to see and do.

good town for walking, looking at houses and buildings and river scenery - good trees in Stewart Park and Marathon Park -- KINGS Chinese Buffet near Marathon park is very good, I always have a meal there when in Wausau

people were good during the day, evening and night guy was our issue. Nightmare of a stay and do not recommend ever staying at this place. The holiday inn across the street was superior just with a visit by one of our group visiting with ppl staying there. Much cleaner and much nicer place.

We stayed in Wausau for the monster truck shows.

We stayed in Wausau for the monster truck shows. Not only was our stay at Rib Mountain wonderful, we ate lunch at La Taqueria. Which was a short walk across from Marathon County Park. The atmosphere was fun, the food was delicious, and staff were very friendly. I highly recommend them!
