This apartment had everything we needed. The washing machine and dryer were a real plus. The host was an absolute diamond and was dedicated to his desire for us to have everything we needed. For the price we paid, it was absolutely spot on.

Overall it was amazing, great communication with the host and house had everything you need. Also private parking in the back was really appreciated. We loved how host was able to renovate house which is more than 100y old and still it kept its old magic.

Great location amidst several interesting museums. The appartment was fully furnished and secure. Staff were helpful and ready to assist, despite not having a physical presense. Comfortable bed a bonus.

I was skeptical when I read the reviews before booking but...

I was skeptical when I read the reviews before booking but the pictures looked nice so I gave them a chance. We checked in headed downtown Detroit for the draft came back with some dinner and a COCKROACH came running towards me. We then searched the room and found MANY dead ones along with a trap hidden behind the refrigerator. It was absolutely disgusting. I asked for my money back and said I would rather sleep in my car!

Areas of Detroit have been cleaned up and look pretty good...

Areas of Detroit have been cleaned up and look pretty good and nice to go to in the daytime. But it is loud, and an assault on the ears and extremely obnoxious on the weekend at night and not somewhere I ever care to be again.

Breakfast was a couple of granola bar and a kid's juice box. grab and go. Would have made the stay better with more options. I felt like a kid getting a morning snack before class. They had fresh coffee. The location/ room I stayed in needs an update, stale smell in the room and the toilet was very very low.

Windsor is a small serene city with a lot the city has to...

Windsor is a small serene city with a lot the city has to offer. When you look over the Detroit River from Windsor you see Detroit city. That is more than fascinating enough. Also the new Gordie Howe International Bridge that links Windsor to Detroit and vice versa. Also the Detroit-Windsor Tunnel is also a fascinating tunnel to drive through to have the experience first hand.

Although cute and very clean, it was nearly impossible to find this place in the dark. No porch lights and the address was not visible unless you got out of the car and went looking for it. When we called the host for help, she sounded annoyed and kept saying, "look at your GPS", which was no help! The call got disconnected, and when we called back she did not pick up. It took 45 minutes to find the right condo.

There are other towns around Detroit that you can enjoy, if...

There are other towns around Detroit that you can enjoy, if you are with a family, dont stay in Warren, look for a better place, or keep to Downtown Detroit. Make sure to empty the car, and dont leave anything in the car that can be seen from the windows.

Love the city it was easy to get around and I did not have...

Love the city it was easy to get around and I did not have enough time to see everything I wanted too. People were very nice and helpful everywhere I visited. If you drive you will fall in love with the roads .. so easy to quickly get to where you want to go as long as there is no construction in the area. Fox Theatre was mindblowing . The Detroit institute of arts was so great , so much art from so many famous artist. I wasn't solo because I was visiting family so I had a great time and I love Detroit . It still has a small town vibe even though its a large city.

The trip was fine.

The trip was fine. But the hotel experience was awful, rooms wasn't clean, bathrooms was not clean a d towels was dirty as well. The people running the hotel could really speak English and the cleaning people couldn't understand English either. I truly wouldn't recommend this Roseville Baymont to anyone what so ever.

I’ve stayed at this hotel chain before and always had good...

I’ve stayed at this hotel chain before and always had good experiences, but unfortunately, this location was a big disappointment. The carpet in my room was sticky and dirty, and the property overall felt very outdated. It was also hard to rest at night because there were people loudly talking outside my window until late hours. On top of that, I noticed people smoking weed in both the hallway and the parking lot, which made the environment feel unsafe and unpleasant. Sadly, this is the first hotel from this chain that I cannot recommend.
