Both front desk employees, the one working Sunday evening and the one working Monday morning were amazing!! We were treated as if we were staying at their home. They were kind, respectful, accommodating, professional, very pleasant and not only to us but what we saw, to everyone. They made our stay very enjoyable. They are rare employees.

My room was super nice. The kitchen was nice.
They one thing I would like to see different is is seat in the tub closer to the show head or a hand held show head. I'm in a wheelchair and it would be a little easier. But I love the stay. Staff was very professional and friendly. Thank you

The duplex was quite, clean and soothing. Had more amenities than ever expected. You can tell the owners went above an beyond to in fact “set the right vibes”. The neighborhood and surrounding areas are beautiful and everything is within 10-15 mins.

Our first time staying at this BEST WESTERN.
Our first time staying at this BEST WESTERN. We were in town for a funeral (family member) Location was good. Cleanliness could have been better. Breakfast was fair, but food was cold. A bigger selection would have been nice. We are use to top notch hotels that fall in this category. This location is older. No elevator! Check in took over 45 minutes. Only one clerk at the desk working and a lot of people were waiting to be checked in. Staff was very friendly though. Did not use pool or gym due to time constraints. May or may not stay here again if the need arises. $144.00 a night (not including taxes) for this hotel was a disappointment. This place was fair.

Too much military influence. I hated Killeen. I do not suggest it as a destination or place to live. High crime rate, completely awful people. I hated the hospital, the ASYMCA, and nearby town of Salado. The minimum wage was $8 which is sickeningly low and there were no job prospects despite obvious signs businesses were hiring and the cities career center never gave real help. The mall in Temple is better than Killeen which is a ghost town.

Renae was the perfect person to greet anyone coming in, going out, he always had a great smile and personality. Ashbhag was also kind attentive, thoughtful and very pleasant. She always asked me what I needed. I appreciated everything about my stay except the carpet was always wet. I thought maybe from the air conditioner. However I had on the perfect shoes for that situation and once I let the front desk know, (Kenya I think) that issue was resolved. I could walk very short distances for fast food or the HEB grocery right across the street. I will definitely come back to Best Western Harker Heights on my next visit to Killeen. Thank you all for a comfortable stay. Oh and I was able to bring my work and work in my room. Awesome!!!

Didn’t like their drunk employee coming in at 4am with music blaring and raving engine of car for 10 minutes while she made out with a dude in the parking lot.. Didnt like the wifi doesn’t connect to a iPhone for long and that’s with the staffs help

I FOUND THE PEOPLE OF KILLEEN TO BE GENTLE, AND READY TO SMILE UPON YOUR PRESENCE. WHEN I HAD ENTERED A SMALL BUSINESS TO DINE OR SHOP, I WAS TREATED WITH GREAT RESPECT AND ASKED TO RETURN. THE RESIDENCE OF KILLEEN, OOZE OUT THE PLATITUDE, "THIS IS SACRED GROUND, BY BLOOD OF FAITHFUL MEN."

We loved visiting different things within the area and...
We loved visiting different things within the area and Austin. We were able to experience many many different foods--all delicious! And of course had to make a stop or two (lol) at Buc-ees :)
The only thing to be conscious of is the interstates/ traffic...if you are not used to it that can throw you off.
