Location was perfect to get away from the hustle and bustle of town, but close enough to still enjoy local restaurants, shopping, etc. Perfect spot to enjoy the lake and swimming. More space than a hotel room, amenities available, and with additional privacy.

Hot springs is a peculiar place. The thermal waters at the bath houses is s unique experience. It is an old town with people that loves it and represent it with their services. The park is a quiet place full of peace and nature.

view was nice yard was clean. would have loved to have stayed the whole weekend. I was told pool is operational before I booked it. Our entire trip was planned around that pool. When we realized the pool was not operational I asked could I get a refund or a credit to come back when the pool is working. VACASA told me they would let me know. of course the answer was I should have checked. I did check they would not look at the messages I sent to the property owner. I understand business and this is not good business this is computer generated excuses. obvious they did not research like I did

The bath houses were still accommodating, but the waits were long. Hot Springs has changed a lot since I was there last time. The auction houses are no longer upscale and they are scarce. The shops are mostly boutiques run by immature, entitled kids. No real food places that were up to par.
It is still a historically interesting place.

Lots of things to do in the area, so plan several days or revisit often. The lake is beautiful, and if you have a boat...bring it so you can get out there. We enjoyed the Alligator Farm and Petting Zoo, the Mid-America Science Museum (spend a whole day if you have it), Magic Springs, and one of the laser tag places. (obviously this trip was planned around small children, but adults would enjoy the alligator farm and the museum.) We drove through some of Hot Springs, and there are numerous shops and eateries to explore that we will try when we don't have young kids along. There were a number of historical attractions that would be interesting to see. We had no trouble getting around and there are many different kinds of indoor and outdoor attractions within a 30-mile radius. We didn't venture out to do hiking, fishing, boating as that was not suitable for the age of our group...but definitely it is all there if you have kids of appropriate age for those activities.

Hot Springs National Park is a great place to visit from the bath houses to the visitor center to the hiking trails. For those into mountain biking, North Woods trail system is a 15 minute bike ride to the trail head from downtown Hot Springs with some really fun single track (check out the loop Pullman to Pumphouse to Rock Hound to Freeman, a great cross-country loop with some fast flowing single track with a bit of tech).
The city has so much history. The only downside is that it feels like the great Hot Springs town is past its prime. The ranger at the National Park told us that the number of visitors have increased 10X since the pandemic so hoping that means reinvestment into the area.

The view was great.
The view was great. The room was good with microwave, fridge, and especially the coffee and coffee maker. Downtown was excellent, the tower, and of course Oaklawn where we actually won a nice sum of cash.
