To spend the night in a museum is almost a dream come true. We checked in and spent at least an hour reading about the history. I was a big Doc Savage fan, and seeing part of the story of Lester Dent, who created the books under the pen name of Kenneth Robeson) on the site made it even more exciting for me.

Located just off Highway 63, this hotel is next to the Kirksville Country Club. It serves a continental breakfast every morning and features an on-site fitness center. The staff was friendly and helpful with everything. The rooms were immaculate, the beds and pillows were truly comfortable and exceptional quality and comfort. The entire stay was wonderful and we will definitely book with them again. There are few exceptional hotels with staff who care and are always helpful. I can't recommend this hotel more strongly. WONDERFUL STAY

This Central Brookfield motel is 2 hours’ drive east of Kansas City, Missouri and 10 miles from the Walt Disney Hometown Museum. It is renovated yet retains some vintage features. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was clean, quiet, comfortable, and I felt safe. Had frig and microwave.
