The Packard House is a beautiful historic house in a beautiful historic town. The owners, Amy and Mark, couldn't be nicer. They have the perfect balance of friendliness and privacy.

Only a couple of restaurants, but on water, with lovely views! Location is great, near the must-see, fabulous Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens in Boothbay!
Quaint shops, antiques, art galleries, just enough, not over-whelming. Marston House Wiscasset...beautiful French Antiques!
Beautiful, historic homes to walk around. Two casual options to get your lobster rolls & sit outside by the water!

It's close to Boothbay Harbor, where there are lots of great places to eat, neat shops, art galleries, whale watches, and other fun things. We spent a day at the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens, which was well worth the time spent, and also made a day trip up to Acadia. Next visit, we'll check out the Aquarium (we just didn't have time, this trip).
If you go, be sure to stop at Blanchard's Creamery and Cafe. Best ice cream for miles!!!

Very beautiful but there are relatively few things to do on Westport and no easy access to the water as far as I could see - an interesting organic brewery (12-5pm) and a really well kept historical trail (about 1 hour) - but that's about it!

Bath is a small quaint town. You can walk the main street in five minutes. It has all the necessities. The hotel was very nice, but priced too high for the location. A quiet place between destinations.

We stayed at Hawks House Inn the night before we took the ferry to Monhegan out of New Harbor. It was perfect for us! It wasn’t easy to find a room for 3 people in the area. Hawks House Inn was clean and comfortable. Steve paid attention to my request for no strong cleaning products and he washed linens with All Free. Steve was great! He let my daughter leave her small car on the grass, even though he has limited parking, so we didn’t have to pay $40 each for two cars for one night on Monhegan. We had a fun time at Pemaquid Point Lighthouse and enjoyed the museum and digs. An important part of Maine history! We had a good dinner at Pemaquid Seafood, on Steve’s recommendation. He had a wide selection of teas (which made me happy), coffee and banana bread ready, which we could take with us to catch an early ferry. It’s a lovely area! I would definitely stay there again! My daughter and granddaughter found a swimming hole in Walpole, which was a highlight for them on a hot day.

Downtown Boothbay harbor is tightly clustered around the harbor, making most of the area accessible by foot. Haven't really investigated the area yet, was there for a show at the opera house last year and currently, the botanical garden light show, we will be back to do more walking around as the area is quant and beautiful

We drove a short distance to Robinson's Wharf - one of the places recommended. I had the fish and chips which was delicious, and my spouse had the lazy lobster. Good choices.
There's really plenty to do at the property, we were just thwarted because of the rain.

Breakfast was adequate but need to have different service timing. Food was tasty but not heated enough. Cold pancakes - fine flavor and texture but cold when received. Didn’t feel should have to “nuke” them.
