We hiked all around the Manassas battlefields.
We hiked all around the Manassas battlefields. Did a guided tour, the guide was extremely knowledgeable and the fall colors and changing of the leaves were stunning! Manassas was surprisingly a nice town. Our favorite place to eat was Ford's Fish Shack and So Korean BBQ.

Just like any city, parts appear to be rough and run down.
Just like any city, parts appear to be rough and run down. We weren't there to sight see, and just spent the night while passing through. The downtown historic area appeared to be quaint and well maintained. We passed lots of old, restored buildings, parks and historical places.

What I like most staying at this property is hard to choose.
What I like most staying at this property is hard to choose. The staff was polite, knowledgeable, eager to fulfill needs and the property itself was very clean from the stair wells, the dumpster, the parking lot and I didn’t have to clean the room once I checked in, which too often I have to do. Comfortable bed. New linens and fresh towels daily. Definitely recommended and will stay again.

I enjoyed learning about the historical events that took place while visiting a national park location. The workers at the visitors center were very knowledgeable and I was able to get my "Passport to Your National Parks" book stamped. It was nice seeing a concert at Jiffy Lube Live which was close to so many other wonderful tourist locations.

Went to Manassas to visit the civil war battlefields, had an excellent time ,everything along the battlefields were marked off for easy understanding of each battle field site, did encounter some rain but not enough to deter us from enjoying a sacred part of American history. The welcoming center and movie were very educational, it was a great time and to cap it off our Holiday Inn Express was only 1/2 mile away.

Beautiful National Park with museum and lots of sites to visit. High heat and humidity prevented us from walking as much as we wanted to. Historic downtown Manassas was good.Public House Kitchen & Brewery on Battle Street was an excellent local pub we stopped at for dinner.
