The view of my room was very nice, however, I had stayed here before and remembered the view very different, I think they have remodeled the rooms after the pandemic which it is very good. Good stuff, very good attention. I will definitely be back

Huge room with amazing view of the bay, looking out over the causeway across to Miami Beach and, to the right, cruise ships arriving and departing (bring binoculars!). We loved the big balcony with table and chairs, and enjoyed watching the smaller boats moving around below and the causeway bridge opening to let them through, plus a seaplane arriving at the little island to the left. A big plus were the two bathrooms, both with a hand-held shower in addition to the overhead shower. The bed was comfortable, apart from the pillows being much too firm and bulky. The grocery with take-away food on the ground floor was useful.

Positives -- Warm weather.

Positives -- Warm weather. Some nice sights -- Art Deco and promenade on Miami Beach, Vizcaya, Fairchild Botanical Gardens, Bay of Pigs Museum, Kampong, etc. Negatives -- Heavy traffic and frustrated drivers, difficult to find parking, risk to pedestrians trying to cross wide streets. Glad we went, but not eager to return.

all was perfect.... would not change anything.

all was perfect.... would not change anything. I love the area, and its close to the beach. I would though simply ask the owner to purchase a very inexpensive umbrella and one more beach chair..... that would be helpful.....

THE HOTEL IS NASTY.

THE HOTEL IS NASTY. THE FRONT AREA, THE ELEVATOR, THE HALLWAY AND THE BEDROOM AND BATHROOM. THERE WAS ALSO SOMEONE BANGING ON MY DOOR AT 1:20 AM IN THE MORNING AND TRYING TO USE THEIR KEY TO GET IN MY ROOM. I CALLED THE FRONT DESK WHICH TOOK AWHILE TO ANSWER AND TOLD THEM THAT SOMEONE IS TRYING TO GET IN MY ROOM, A SHORT TIME LATER A FEMALE SECURITY WHO HARDLY COULD GET OUT HER OWN WAY CAME TO THE DOOR AND I TOLD HER WHAT HAD HAPPEN AND SHE SAID SHE DIDN'T SEE ANYONE BUT THEY WOULD CHECK THE CAMERA. I ALSO TOLD HER THAT I COULD NOT SLEEP. THEY NEVER GOT BACK TO ME. I LEFT THE NEXT MORNING.

A nice and quiet section of Miami Beach.

A nice and quiet section of Miami Beach. It’s far away from all the action, which makes it relaxing and secluded while still being an easy drive to get to all the main Miami Beach attractions. The town over, Surfside, plenty of restaurants and shopping. Being close to Haulover Beach was a huge plus because it was the nicest beach we visited in the area.

Florida have some of the best highways I’ve experienced anywhere for a long time. Unfortunately, the maniacs who drive those roads forget common courtesy for those who isn’t as familiar as they are.. 80 mph in the right lane, please give me a break and I’m used to drive in on the Audubond.

I'm glad my husband did the driving; traffic in Miami is a nightmare! We had wedding events only 19 miles away, but it took 1-1/2 hours driving time. Good luck finding a place to park in Little Havana. Since we spent so much time driving to and from events, it didn't allow extra time for much sightseeing or the beach. We were there for wedding events and our accommodations met our needs for that.

We had to cancel our stay due to unexpected travel issues, but the hotel staff was incredibly understanding and kind. They handled everything professionally and refunded us without any problems. Even though we couldn’t stay this time, the communication and support were excellent. We truly appreciate their attitude and would happily choose this hotel in the future. Highly recommended!

Am still awaiting my $100 refund to go back into my account.

Am still awaiting my $100 refund to go back into my account. This was explained to me and my wife, the money was held for any damages that may occur during my stay. I checked out on the 25th of December and today is the 28th of December. It’s only suppose to take 72 hrs or three days. I’ll wait another day before I start making some calls.

We stayed in South Beach Miami for 6 nights on our honeymoon prior to our cruise and for 1 night in Downtown post cruise. Our biggest takeaway was how expensive everything was, particularly in South Beach! We knew to expect a premium prices but we weren't quite prepared for the actual pricing for basic items. Key Biscayne was probably our favourite spot and one not to be missed! The beach was beautiful and a short walk from the bus stop. You need to pay for beach loungers and umbrellas. We rented some biked and cycled along the promenade as far as we could go which was great fun. Super easy to get around Miami. We only used Uber to get to the port from hotel and back otherwise we used city bus which was only $2.25 per journey or the Miami trolley which is free! Great options if you're on a budget! We also rented a car to drive to Key West and Everglades however non US residents BEWARE - it's an extra $100 to get into the Everglades National Park ON TOP of the standard entry fee... if you fancy going on the airboat head to the Safari Park where you don't need to pay the extra fee!

South Beach is our favorite place to stay.

South Beach is our favorite place to stay. Love walking the area, lots of great restaurants. Good people watching. Easy access to the mainland. Ubers and taxis are readily available. Lounging at a beach is not important to us.
