Positives: The size of the rooms in the apartment and the size of the apartment, itself. The building security, cleanliness, concierge staff, the stores attached to the building, the workout center, the sauna. Didn't have time to use the pool, but that is a plus for the building as well. The location was great for what we needed and much less in cost, than if we had stayed closer to the competition venue. Close to the Mover Metro for free and easy transportation to Bay Front Beach for the Miami Wodapalooza Crossfit comp. We had a little issue with the dishwasher when we arrived, but one email later, and it was quickly resolved by the caretaker.

Miami became too expensive, the quality of restaurants and service has decreased, any basic meal is $50-$60 USD, and the service is often lazy and below acceptable, although everyone is always ready to request the 18% tip. The city has somehow lost its unique culture in the last 5 to 7 years. Hotels and Airbnbs are overpriced and offer basic elements. Everything is done with the lowest effort possible to be at a minimum to charge. I was a huge fan of Miami, but right now, I can't recommend it... sadly.

Hotel in great location - we went to restaurant in Lincoln Mall for dinner. We were only one block from the path that goes along the edge off the beach which is a great place for an enjoyable walk or run. The walk is very well landscaped and there are many people walking and running on it. Area has many older hotels that are in the later stages of renovation and the area will look better in the future.

THE HOTEL IS NASTY.

THE HOTEL IS NASTY. THE FRONT AREA, THE ELEVATOR, THE HALLWAY AND THE BEDROOM AND BATHROOM. THERE WAS ALSO SOMEONE BANGING ON MY DOOR AT 1:20 AM IN THE MORNING AND TRYING TO USE THEIR KEY TO GET IN MY ROOM. I CALLED THE FRONT DESK WHICH TOOK AWHILE TO ANSWER AND TOLD THEM THAT SOMEONE IS TRYING TO GET IN MY ROOM, A SHORT TIME LATER A FEMALE SECURITY WHO HARDLY COULD GET OUT HER OWN WAY CAME TO THE DOOR AND I TOLD HER WHAT HAD HAPPEN AND SHE SAID SHE DIDN'T SEE ANYONE BUT THEY WOULD CHECK THE CAMERA. I ALSO TOLD HER THAT I COULD NOT SLEEP. THEY NEVER GOT BACK TO ME. I LEFT THE NEXT MORNING.

A nice and quiet section of Miami Beach.

A nice and quiet section of Miami Beach. It’s far away from all the action, which makes it relaxing and secluded while still being an easy drive to get to all the main Miami Beach attractions. The town over, Surfside, plenty of restaurants and shopping. Being close to Haulover Beach was a huge plus because it was the nicest beach we visited in the area.

Florida have some of the best highways I’ve experienced anywhere for a long time. Unfortunately, the maniacs who drive those roads forget common courtesy for those who isn’t as familiar as they are.. 80 mph in the right lane, please give me a break and I’m used to drive in on the Audubond.

Miami is a nice!

Miami is a nice! Being that there are so many visitors, there should be clarity on public transportation signs or someone to assist. The few people we met were very kind in assisting with directions. One person at the Miami airport was very nasty when we asked questions about the train. I believe that if you're not a "people person" who working with the public, you should at least TRY to be accommodating! Aren't they hired for this reason???

The area was beautiful, and I wish I had more time to take in the beach, boardwalk/path area, and the outdoor work out facility. I also wish I had more time to explore the eateries, that seemed to be all around us.

Am still awaiting my $100 refund to go back into my account.

Am still awaiting my $100 refund to go back into my account. This was explained to me and my wife, the money was held for any damages that may occur during my stay. I checked out on the 25th of December and today is the 28th of December. It’s only suppose to take 72 hrs or three days. I’ll wait another day before I start making some calls.

English seems like the "second" language in Miami.

English seems like the "second" language in Miami. I had a few miscommunications with staff at the hotel/restaurants etc as many employees either only spoke Spanish/ their grasp of English was not good or more imporantly, I found I could not understand as they spoke fast and their accent was hard to understand . I was very suprised . However, everyone was friendly and always tried to be helpful. I would suggest learning a few "important" spanish phrases before visiting Miami. We stayed in Mid Beach so found there was lots to do. I would have like to have had time to visit Little Havana rather than just a drive by on the tour bus.

Unfortunately, I gave this place a 2 due to the fact that we needed somewhere to stay when we got to Miami and on the Beach. However, this was one of the worst places I ever stayed in the place was molded and unsanitary. The stand in shower was molded, and it barely worked the towel rack is coming out the wall in the bathroom. Even the bathroom door was disgusting and dirty and it did not want to open; it looks like someone can and sprayed paint all on it to cover up the dirt. The remote control has tape on it and the back is missing for the TV. This place had no room service or housekeeping at all for none of the days we were there. The price for this stay was nothing short of price gauging when it comes to the location and the timing. I would like to request a refund for paying the amount we paid to stay here before I speak with my bank. Disliked · I also did not like the fact that it was only Valet Parking, and they were charging $37.80 a day. This property stated before we stayed here it was not affiliated with the Casablanca Hotel however this hotel was exactly what the Casablanca Hotel is like and that was false advertising that I was given. The inside of room #739 was the exact same room as all the other rooms inside this Hotel. I am requesting a refund due to false advertising and being totally disgusted with this stay.
