United StatesRoom was one of the cleanest I have ever stayed in. The owner  was the individual who checked me in and had to be one of the nicest people at a motel that I have ever talk to. I would highly recommend for anybody to stay at this motel.

This property looks nothing like the website. It is extremely rundown. The restaurants have crazy hours and you're in the middle of nowhere, So good luck with food. There is no game room even though it says it on the website. The pool is extremely small and rundown. Miniature golf is extremely small and run down. The playground is very rundown and small. I am not a golfer however, I did have a golfer with me and he said that the course is terrible.
This resort needs a ton of TLC. The rooms are outdated. The beds are not comfortable. There is nothing to do for kids there. I wasted my money

The area of Bruceton mills/Hazelton where we stayed and went was beautiful I look forward to visiting this area again in the near future. Checking out more of the mountains and state parks within the area.

Our son was at a work conference in Cumberland.
Our son was at a work conference in Cumberland. We decided to to meet him at Deep Creek Lake to go to a few places we like. Short Story Brewing is just down the road and Mountain State Brewing(on Sang Run Rd) isn't too far away. The room was very nice and comfortable. We used the hot tub, weather was a little chilly so it worked perfectly. We ate a late lunch at Firewater. It's on the water not too far away. Food is excellent and so are the drinks.

Staff is wonderful, very helpful. Location is beautiful, golf course, beach, lake and views. Accommodations are terrible; room is worse than a cut rate Oceanside hotel room, always damp and musty smelling, interior doors are warped and do not close properly.

The family and I enjoyed the atmosphere and the ability to relax. The kids had room to play in doors and outdoors. The fireplaces were essential since it was the Fall. The lighting and high ceilings were a sight to see. The memories the family and I shared will be embedded in our hearts. In addition, the amount of space was suitable for a party of 12.
The property mentioned a hot tube but there was not one on the property. Plus it was rainy and cold during our stay.

The location was nice, however the entire facility was rundown and needed a major renovation. We were only going to stay for two nights and for those two nights neither the restaurant nor the lounge was open. The boat rental was not open. There were no tables and chairs on the balcony, which also needed painted. It was a very disappointing experience. We ended up going home extremely disappointed.
