The staff at the front desk was so kind and pleasant. The woman who checked us in was really quick and answered questions well. The bed was super comfortable and clean (I always check beneath the sheets!). It was super cold the day we checked in and room was immediately cozy.

The hotel is located right in the heart of the downtown and although it is under remodeling, it was so clean and comfortable. I was able to walk everywhere throughout town and it had an amazing Italian restaurant right in the hotel.

We always stay at this Hampton Inn location when we travel to Pennsylvania. Friendly staff comfortable bed clean room and shower and exceptional breakfast, they did get rid of my favorite cranberry juice though. Overall this hotel meets all my expectations and more.

I had no heat and no working toilet. When I contacted staff about each, they made excuses about being busy and no maintenance being available. Late when I filed a complaint, they outright lied about the conditions I endured!

Unfortunately, the mattress was so thin and hard that I would never stay here again. It was on a wooden platform and no box spring which added to the firmness.
Be prepared to be charged an additional $50/day incidental fee at check-in. You won't get that money back until 4 days after you checkout. I was not happy with that surprise fee!

I like the location of the hotel. It was close to the premium outlet mall and restaurants. And it's only 30 min drive to Philadelphia. I gps where I wanted to go and everything was in 5 min of the hotel. Jack Cassidy is a must visit.

Come for the festivals and leave before morning comes.
Parking situation makes staying overnight in Phoenixville an Extremely Unpleasant Affair.
Phoenixville has the most predatory and capricious public parking system I've ever seen. It's designed to generate tickets. I wound up paying $40 in parking fees. That alone would have been manageable, but the design of the system made my visit to a film festival at The Colonial Theater something of a nightmare.
We arrived at 1030 am for 13-14 hour event that started at noon. Parking was $2 an hour. Parking was live 7 days a week from 6 am to 2 am in the city's public lots.
Problem #1: You can only pay for 14 hours max - and you can't edit or add time. You have to wait for the first purchase to run out or start an entirely new purchase. So I had to set an alarm for 1230 pm, leave the theater mid-film and pay for 2 more hours.
Problem #2: Then after being up till 2am, I discovered that I couldn't log into the app to pay for parking until 6am so I had to set an alarm for 6am to get up and pay more in the app or get ticketed. I got almost 4 hours of sleep and then had to quickly log in at 6am on the dot.
I paid for 4 hours and got to the parking lot at 950am with 10 minutes to spare. The guy who issued the tickets pulled in as we were loading our vehicle up and was checking each of the vehicles to slap tickets on them.
I will never again stay in Phoenixville, which is unfortunate because I feel like the local hotel does a good job. The parking issue could be fixed in many different ways - but it's set up to produce tickets and generate lots of revenue for the town/borough/whatever. These events happen a few times a year, I will be staying at a hotel outside of Phoenixville and would recommend that to anyone parking for an overnight event.

The staff was nice and the overall facility was clean. We went to be near the outlets and to allow the kids to hang out at the pool. Unfortunately they did not feel comfortable getting in the pool. The water was very cloudy and there were white particles floating throughout. Not sure if it was from the loose grout or what but it was enough to be concerned with the combination of the fogginess.

It was the scariest hotel with the most disgusting, non-smoking room which smelled of smoke so bad it had even penetrated the pillows and mattress. I could go on but I have already reviewed this property. All I can truthfully say is a person is safer if they stay in their car in the Walmart shopping center than at this hotel!!!
