I'd give them a 10 on 5 if that were possible. I arrived earlier than my check-in time, but Akash went above and beyond to give me a spare room until my room was ready. Rooms were absolutely clean and there's everyday housekeeping service to maintain it that way. Great location and service. Being a compact space with limited number of rooms, they do not offer breakfast, but have several options right adjacent. You'd be surprised with the parking space, which also felt very safe. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a budget option.

Santa Clara is home to Apple and many other tech companies. There were many Asian restaurants, as well as other types. We found everything to be very very expensive. A simple udon / tempura cafeteria type restaurant with no alcohol, and one shared beverage was $48!
Definitely need a car to get around but we were also very impressed with the extensive bike paths clearly marked along all streets. It was also so clean with lovely trees and vegetation everywhere.
We loved the Cupertino area. Lots of great eating options, although prices were very high.

We were returning ex-pats so knew the area well. Nice area, lots of places to shop and eat. More homeless people then we remember. Glad we rented a car so we could visit family in Santa Cruz many times during our stay. Did so much thrift shopping and garage sales that we had to buy an extra suitcase to bring all the treasure home.

I learned Never to stay in this hotel or any Extended America hotel. I reserved 2 weeks and paid ~$1,400 being a regular customer. I requested 1 week and check-out should 12/2/25 after I saw how bad the room I was given, I was too tired to look for another hotel after discovering this after ~8pm. Instead the manager did not update the change, I had to stay the whole 2 weeks 11/25/25- 12/9/25.

There is so much homelessness in the San Jose area. Govenor Newscum is making our beautiful state of California an nasty pit where homelessness abounds. You really have to look around for good rated hotels who have people who make sure the area is clear of homeless people. Had Govenor Newscum used the funds he received to provide for the homelessness or if he closed the borders we would not be in this situation. He needs to GO!

If Breakfasts included in the price is an important factor, do not choose this hotel. Honestly it was just like any average hotel. It was within close driving distance to restaurants. You will also pay an additional $15 each day for parking. When a hotel lists breakfast included and you don't get it, either Booking.com has the problem or the hotel does. It became our problem at any rate. In either case we did not get one, drove down the street and paid $68 at an ordinary Waffle house for eggs, bacon and waffles.
$300 overnight stay is expensive... period.

We were actually just passing through Santa Clara on our way home. it was just an overnight stop on the way to the bus station early the next morning. Didn't see any spots. We ordered pizza and went to bed. I can tell you the RT Pizza tasted very good and delivered promptly. But that's the extent of what we experienced in SC. What we saw from the Uber on the way to the motel was very nice. But I wasn't interested in staying, we just wanted to go home after a very long 2.5 week medical adventure at Stanford.
