Weather was very cold. Loved that we were able to grab something to eat at Legends Pub. Food and service were very good. Location was outstanding. It was a quick ride to Beaver Stadium for the football game.

The size of the room was great for parents traveling with a high school senior looking at Penn State. The breakfast was great as well, not just a packaged pastry. The staff member working breakfast was also very friendly and helpful and told us where we could fill our water bottles once breakfast was closed.

The cottage was lovely but probably more suitable for a young family, as pensioners with age related problems we found the stairs a bit steep but manageable .but our son and grandaughter had no problems.

The Gamble Mill is a gem at the edge of a beautiful little historic town. Easy walk into town. Check in is seamless and very easy (visitors let themselves in via keypad on door of room rented). The room had a very nice vibe, nice decoration, bed was very nice, and everything was clean plus in good working order. There is a great bar downstairs, an on site gift shop with local goods, and a lovely restaurant on the second floor, the Creekside, where we had a delicious farm to table meal.

My spouse and I visit because our child attends PSU.

My spouse and I visit because our child attends PSU. It's a great college town but you have to be diligent about where to stay and plan as far ahead for football games and school events as prices everywhere skyrocket due to the high demand.

Bellefonte is really changing in a good way.

Bellefonte is really changing in a good way. There are so many new restaurant and brew pub options. The park is beautiful and the town is very walkable. The commute into State College is only 15 minutes if you are there for any PSU event. Highly recommend!

The PSU campus is absolutely gorgeous.

The PSU campus is absolutely gorgeous. The architecture is something to see. The brick work throughout campus makes it so classy and the sidewalks lead you everywhere! We used a GPS to wiggle out way throughout the campus. College Avenue is fun to walk, the shops, restaurants and bars are many. Don't forget the Creamery and Meyers Dairy! Great town for a weekend getaway!!

The room needs a thorough cleaning.

The room needs a thorough cleaning. I have photos of what was over our heads. Anyone what dust allergies would have never been able to stay. I would appreciate a refund of some sort. I enclosed the view above head and have glass shelf and bathroom floor as well.
