This was a wonderful restful hotel with quiet rooms and comfortable beds.Beautiful cedar architecture - nice restaurant onsite - complimentary coffee in the lobby all day - and a great little bar area near the fireplace. Bring your swimming costume - there is an outdoor spa.

I cannot recommend this hostel highly enough! My teenager and his friends stayed here recently, and as a parent, I was naturally a bit nervous about them traveling on their own. However, the staff was absolutely incredible from start to finish. They were so communicative and helpful before and during the arrival process, making sure the boys felt safe right away.
The property itself was exceptionally clean, modern, and had such a warm, welcoming atmosphere. It’s rare to find a place that balances a fun environment with such professional and attentive service. Thank you to the whole team for the help, it gave me such peace of mind

I love the mountain vibe despite its proximity to the town proper. The cabin was fully equipped with everything we need. We love the snow experience.

Amazing facilities, the view around the hotel is unreal. Unfortunately, we were out of season for our trip, but we could imagine how amazing it is during peak season

Excellent location, right in the village, walking distance to the ski lifts. Decent value, too. Responsive and friendly owner, who went out of his way to help us with a quite unusual request. Thank you!

Lots of shopping and eating establishments.
Lots of shopping and eating establishments. Great burgers at Burger Me! Enjoyed visit to Donner Lake Memorial State Park. Merchants selling winter wear in late April charging crazy amount of $ for snow gloves & boots so come prepared.

The location was perfect for our needs.
The location was perfect for our needs. We went there to hike and enjoy the lake. Entrance to the Tahoe Rim trail is a short car ride away. The apartment had everything we needed for a short stay and access to the recreation center was an added bonus. We used the pool and Pickle ball courts. The Village is in walking distance and we ate at the pizza place and the Mexican place for dinners and both were great. We enjoyed watching the bike riders while listening to live music in the village. As usual Lake Tahoe was too crowded.

Very scenic area with lots of water based and hiking activities.
Lots of great places to eat with friendly staff.
Guests visiting in the summer months should be aware of a daily resort tax which is not reflected in the booking.com price. We incurred $50 extra per night which we were not aware of at the time of booking.

Tahoe Vista has been discovered. Traffic is challenging.
Tahoe Vista has been discovered. Traffic is challenging. Crowded. Come with plenty of patience. It's a tourist destination on beautiful Leke Tahoe. Not a relaxing place. But great if you like to hike and get away from the over crowded lakeside.

The city of Truckee is very charming.
The city of Truckee is very charming. You have the old Truckee down town, with restaurants, museums and all kinds of store to buy souvenirs and merchandise. Then you have the new Truckee down town that have grocery stores, banks, pet hospitals and more restaurants. The bike path along the river is vantastic, you can ride a long distance or short distance. Beautiful pine trees with the river running thru it. Alpine bliss.

Nice little town in North Lake Tahoe.
Nice little town in North Lake Tahoe. Not as populated and not too many hotel casinos as South Lake Tahoe. I've been in South Lake Tahoe many times but if you're looking for a small town atmosphere, consider visiting the north side.
