Quick responses when asking for assistance via text. 30 minute drive to sleeping dunes. 20 min drive to beautiful Vineyards and light house. Very clean and nice big room. Staff was very nice, and we appreciated that they called us within a few minutes of us getting in the room to make sure everything was to our liking. No other hotels have ever done that, and it was a nice touch. Loved the porch railing flower boxes too, very pretty!

Stay was better than expected.-Mostly due to Baywatch hotel accomodations. This facility has a workout room, coffee machine, 2 televisions, and a computer; I wasn't expecting all of the amenities but was pleasantly surprised. Also, I was granted a later checkout time upon my request-that was nice.

Easy access to Traverse City without the traffic and noise. It doesn't have the feel of being on the water, but you can easily walk to it. Close to grocery stores.
You can easily find restaurants that are 1-2 miles away.

it had the major conveniences of chain restaurants and local places to dine. i wish the weather was better when i visited, but it was still beautiful on traverse bay. i took a ferry ride on grand traverse bay and it was nice until it began to rain. i did not make it to clinch park because of the weather, but it was pretty to look at as i passed by.

So much to explore!
So much to explore! We visited the lighthouses and sleeping bear dunes. Tried to explore the commons shopping area, but couldn't seem to get there. Could have used a better map. Hopefully we can check it out next time. Lots of road construction made it a challenge to navigate an unfamiliar city. Views were stunning along the bay. We hope to visit again perhaps next spring. Parking was definitely an issue. We passed on exploring some shops and restaurants because parking couldn't be found.
