The location was great, very quiet and picturesque. The apartment was comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked. It was very clean and the owner was immediately responsive.
Short walk to a beautiful beach, and a store is across the street.
This was our favorite place we stayed on our trip!

A cute, quaint, quiet place that was eco-friendly. With great service. Thanks Carol.The continental breakfast consists of eggs, rolls, jam, cereal, juice, coffee and tea. Water taxi access from the dock. A quaint rocky beach sits out back. Great for stargazing not swimming. A 15 minute walk to town (Hillsborough).

I stayed in the Bougainvillea Apt. and it is absolutely beautiful...very large, perfectly clean, full kitchen, two balconies. Has everything you might want. The location is good, and the hosts, Jackie and Neville are wonderful.

Bay View Apartments are very sweet and located about a 10 minute walk (up a hill) from the ferry dock. My lovely view from the balcony was overlooking Grand Bay. My room was comfortable and had everything i needed. The staff was very kind and helpful.

What a lovely location with a view out the front door of the Atlantic and a view off the lanai to the Caribbean. It is truly the “Atlantic breeze “in that we were very comfortable with the airflow.
If you have the opportunity to rent the vehicle along with the unit, do so. This will make your experience in Kawan all that much better and accessible.
Our host, Cas, was exceptional, very communicative, and met us at the ferry with the vehicle. The accommodations were excellent!

The location is perfect for getting around Carriacou. The apartment is very comfortable, and has the amenities one might need. Sitting on the balcony in the evening, after the sun goes down, is heavenly. Mr. Alexander and Lorin are wonderfully helpful.

An idyllic paradise which moves at a slower pace of life. The beaches are nice. There are a few bars and restaurants to check out. Also if there are any cultural events happening when you are visiting make sure you take them in. Also there is a kitesurfing school for those adventurous to try.

I came here to join a luxury yacht at the marina for a week. If I came again I would consider island-hopping by ferry and looking for private boat trips for snorkelling and so on.
Canouan has the huge Sandy Lane Marina at one end, the even huger Mandarin resort at the other, with real life squeezed in the village in between. I preferred the low-key feel of the village, which has a couple of cheaper places to eat, the Coffee Shop and Sea Grapes (pizza) for example, if the street barbecue doesn't appeal. You can eat at Soho too without being a resident, book ahead - nice place but charges in USD and is not cheap.

Just a (FUN) Ferry trip away, good to see the smaller island! More Goats & Cows roaming :) They are still recuperating from Hurricane Beryl so Bless them. Everything is convenient (walkable) since small island.
Sorry...warning -they do NOT know how to make Pizza! Stick to local foods-FISH.
