The location was great, very quiet and picturesque. The apartment was comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked. It was very clean and the owner was immediately responsive. Short walk to a beautiful beach, and a store is across the street. This was our favorite place we stayed on our trip!

On our arrival, we were welcomed by the host, who showed us around our accommodation which is really nice, by the way, with up to date mods and cons such as universal plug sockets, air con, good quality wifi, immaculate bathroom facilties and lots more). The beds were comfortable, and all of us slept well. Hilsbourough town is within walking distance and boasts beautiful views of the sea and access to places to eat. The shops/businesses in the town are open until around 4 pm. There is a local shop within 2 mins walk from Iholas Nest that is open until around 7 pm for your essentials such as tea, coffee, bread, cheese, milk, tinned mackrel, etc. Carriacou is such a beautiful island, and the people are very friendly and helpful. We highly recommend Iholas Nest, and we will definitely be returning back to this hidden gem again in the near future.

Jackie and Neville are the best hosts you can have if you want to travel to Canouan. We stayed in the Bouganvillia apartment, which has a balcony with an extraordinary view of the sea and it has AC in the bedroom. Fun fact about these apartments is that it was Neville who built them including all the interior furniture. The house has plenty of space and has a fully equipped kitchen. Jackie arranged boat trips for us to Mayreau and the Tobago Cays, which are two islands that are a must-see in the Grenadines. Neville, on one of the days he was off work, offered to be our guide climbing up one of the island's hills (Taffia Hill), which is well worth it and has a spectacular view. One day, we needed to buy breakfast at the supermarket, and Jackie said she would get us whatever we needed, and she brought us what we needed (bread and bananas). There are 3 supermarkets on the island, and the Marina supermarket has the most products. Canouan Island has an amazing and very relaxing vibe, we really want to go back. And when we come back, we know which apartment we'll be staying in again.
