I like the huge space and largeness of the rooms, the lawn and quiet that came with the property. This is definitely an above the rest place to stay. There is no much to do in Pretoria North.
There is no much to do in Pretoria North. We had to travel to Pretoria East for some entertainment.
My favourite place was Wonderboom Nature Reserve for hiking on the 26/12/2024.
27/12/2024 we went to Sorcery Coffe Shop in Pretoria East n we njyd ourselves and had a relaxed branch.

The weather was ok .and we enjoyed swimming. Everything was perfect 👌 Except the restaurant staff last night we want for dinner .we waited for 25 minutes for menu .Just for the waiter to come and say they are close. Me and my wife left disappointed 😞. Slept hungry.

We loved the service, the food and the setting.
We loved the service, the food and the setting. Getting the feel of Africa so close to town is priceless. The animals came to drink water at sunset and we loved watching them. We had our dinner next to the pool which made walking back to the room easy for our elderly mother. The only negative is that one of our party had a cold shower the next morning and only realised the water was cold once she was under the shower.

I liked that it was peacefull,but I did not like the small portions of food served ,and they are very expensive,there was literally 6 chips given on my burger meal I also ordered a R250 T Bone Steak with veggies but the steak was great but the veggies were too small.
The towels did not smell nice,my bedding smelled like there was somebody who slept there before me and they forgot to change the bedding,it was not fresh.There was dust on the furniture inside our rooms,the chalets are not maintained at all they look rusty.The overall hygiene was not impressive.

We had a mixed experience.
We had a mixed experience. The guest house was peaceful and quiet, great for relaxation. Our host was very friendly and made us feel welcome. Lovely lounge.
However, the bedding and amenities needed improvement. The bed sheets were ripped and damaged, and the kettle was dirty. The blanket smelled bad. Also, the bed cover was actually just the inner lining, not a proper cover.
Despite these issues, we still had a great time exploring.

I loved everything about my trip, we got to visit the Ditsong Museum, Menlyn, the Blade (best highlight ke lena) the Grove (more like fun company but with those big scary but enjoyable machines tht gets the adrenaline running), and manage to visit the neighbours (Sandton, jhb,etc) where we also had the time of our lives with my daughter.

The two ladies Esther and Evah (Ladies from the bible) were very welcoming and easy to talk to. That means we were warmly welcomed. Unfortunately we struggled with load shedding like anyone else. I would suggest they invest in plan b "Backup power for their clients"
I will still book myself at this place in the future.

I am a Pretoria resident and required short term...
I am a Pretoria resident and required short term accommodation in my area, for work purposes. Fuel Depot and Mall with restaurant, take-away outlets, groceries, pharmacy and most of the daily services is close by (walking distance for most).
I chose this for a pet friendly self-catering facility with loadshedding back-up and internet connectivity.
Pretoria is versatile and beautiful with bus routes or uber to get around.
