The town is dirty ,people must be punished for throwing trash anywhere, people are smoking in public places,
But overall I love Upington.I love the mall.I love to at Beantree the staff is quick,friendly and on point .
It was very easy to go around ,yoh but I would like to see more marked taxi.Cause taxis charger are very very high ,some taxis charge 150 per trip from town to the mall.NO ACTIVITIES FOR YOUNG PEOPLE

The town is well maintained, and to our pleasant surprise, the roads were in excellent condition and free of potholes, which was quite refreshing. The area also appears to have a very low crime rate, creating a strong sense of safety and peace of mind throughout our stay. The people are warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming, adding to the overall positive experience.
Augrabies Falls was absolutely stunning, and the moon walk within the park was a unique and memorable experience. The sunset cruise on the Orange River was exceptional, offering breathtaking views and a relaxing atmosphere. Our visit to a local grape farm was equally enjoyable and provided a wonderful insight into the region’s agricultural heritage.

I was quite surprised by Upington as a town.
I was quite surprised by Upington as a town. We went on a boat cruise on the river, which was very, very nice. Sakkie se Arkie is a definite hit and I will definitely do that cruise again when I visit the town again. We were supposed to go wine tasting, but time caught up with us, and we are already planning a return visit. The restaurants that we visited, had very nice food, no complaints there at all. Went to different shops, looking for a specific item, and all the shop assistants were extremely helpful and friendly, directing us to other shops where the item might be available, especially at the Kalahari Mall.
