The Emerald is, by far, one of the most comfortable guesthouses I’ve visited. The room was very clean and well appointed. The parking inside the gated area provided excellent security and the owner and staff could not have been more accommodating. This will be my go-to place in Komani / Queenstown when I’m in town. Thank you!

I liked the cleanliness of the room and the friendly staff.
I liked the cleanliness of the room and the friendly staff. I wish you can improve on your breakfast, put more effort on it and also use nice tasty sausage. I couldn’t use the phone in the room to make phone calls to the reception so I had to use mine which was not fair.
The food at the restaurant was delicious and I didn’t even have to go out.
The service was excellent at the Wellness and beauty Spa.

Queenstown is, unfortunately, an absolute dump ! Driving straight through in order to reach your destination, would be considered as being in Queenstown too long ! I don't have enough words to describe how disgusted I was with the place, however, this is becoming the norm throughout South Africa. Council mismanagement is blatantly obvious and I see no reason why it would get any better in the near future ! The eateries were also so disgusting that I ended up having rolls with cold meat and cheese for dinner - what a shame !

It is a small town and there is nothing to do besides visit...
It is a small town and there is nothing to do besides visit relatives and go to the only nightclub in the town. I would not consider it to be a vacation town you go there because there is a conference or family event that you are attending.
When you book in this town make sure the place has back up water supply this town has major water supply issues.
