The self-check-in system worked perfectly — quick, easy, and completely hassle-free. Our host, Nanette, was friendly and helpful over WhatsApp, ensuring that our stay was as comfortable as possible.
The unit is situated in a neat, quiet, and safe gated complex. It is modern and surprisingly spacious for an overnight establishment, offering all the amenities one could need in a self-catering facility. We felt right at home and will definitely return.
The smart TV with streaming options, including Netflix, was a great bonus. Parking in the garage was especially convenient. The unit is also close to shopping malls and the town centre, yet remains quiet and secure — truly a gem.
We had a fabulous stay.

We had a wonderful weekend in Secunda!
We had a wonderful weekend in Secunda! The town was peaceful and easy to get around. We were there for a graduation and stayed at Umuzi Lodge, such a clean, comfortable, and welcoming place. It made our stay extra special. We also enjoyed our walks from the lodge to Secunda Mall. I honestly wish we could have stayed longer!

We have family in Secunda, and that is the reason we visit...
We have family in Secunda, and that is the reason we visit Secunda from Johannesburg, and we have been doing so for over 30 years. Over these years we have seen Secunda develop from just a remote town that housed the major Sasol plants to this beautiful town with beautiful malls and restaurant's.
Although, after 30 years of democracy, we still experience racism from the Caucasian residents, which is very, very disappointing, because Secunda is developing into a beautiful metropolis, but it will just become a white elephant, a "ghost" town, if the racism continues in Secunda
