The owner was waiting for me to give me the key, although I arrived in Parma late. He walked with me to the gated parking next door, showed me the code, walked me back to the entrance of the hotel, showed me the code for that. He walked me to my room, he showed me everything important. Very efficient and simple. The room had all amenities I needed and a nice view of the street. It was not big but the right size for a single traveler (got the smaller room). The parking charge is very good (5 euros) and the gentleman was kind enough to let me keep the car parked after check-out for few hours, so that I could see more of Parma. You can reach the river (and start of the old town) within 15 minutes on foot. My experience was excellent.
