The location was fantastic! We had a large private yard with a view of the ocean. The sunsets on the water were stunning. Our apartment was spacious and attractive. We could walk to the beach, the supermarket and the center of Forio within minutes. Another little bonus was a vegetable garden that we could pick from. Delia and Francesco were so hospitable and helpful in every way. This was a perfect place for our family.

Staff was very very friendly and all....except, maybe, the fact that you have to walk uphill (there were a few hundred meters which are very steep) to get there from the port.

It offers bright and spacious studios and apartments, most overlooking the sea. WiFi is free. What did I like about the property??? - Everything. This is a fantastic place to stay with great views from the peaceful rooms. The rooms are spacious and clean, with really good facilities even with a washing machine! Good coffee in the room, excellent showers and the staff are fantastic and friendly. Knowledgeable about the better places to eat. A big thanks to Yasmin who was attentive to everyone’s needs throughout the day around the deck area. Great food for lunch and not overly priced. Would I stay here again? Love to.

Villa Olivia has the most beautiful pool and garden area of any holiday property I've ever stayed in. And you can pick lemons and fresh herbs from the garden. There are stunning views wherever you look. And a Japanese foot massage bath! The view over the sea from our balcony was my favourite, especially at sunset. Olivia and her lovely father Giuseppe could not have been kinder or more helpful, they go all out to make your stay a blissful one. Bear in mind the walk down to the beach although short (10-15 minutes) is quite steep. The walk into the centre is easier and takes about the same length of time. As others have pointed out, parts of the road have no pavements. It didn't bother us because we got used to that holidaying in Croatia. The beach Spiaggia Chaia is beautiful. The water is calm and shallow, so good for children. Lastly there's a spa supermarket right next door.
