The check in was a disaster. The reason I went through booking.com was so it was smooth, effortless and safe. This property requires a third party card detail confirmation and check in using a third party app. Which I obviously was wary of and had to raise concerns with booking.com before proceeding to contact anchorage apartments. I ended up cancelling with how disorganised and unsafe it all was. I lost my fee to Anchorage Apartments and booking.com weren’t open to any kind of credit refund due to the poor communication from their end with this booking. As for Anchorage Apartments, when I finally verified that they were legit, their staff were lovely and helpful but sadly I wouldn’t book through them again on booking.com, I would simply book through them directly.
