This house is beautiful!! The owner made everything himself and is a very talented carpenter! The location is everything you should expect from a cozy Italian village in the mountains. The owner and his friend were so kind and even gave us a ride to the house.

We stayed 10 days at Franco's appartment. Although Franco does not live here, we have dealt with him via email and every time we had a very quick answer from him and Monica who takes care of the apartment for Franco. Everything was very clean, wifi works well, everything is supplied. There are lots of instructions in the apartment in case there is an issue and otherwise Franco provided all the instructions before our arrival. Monica was in particular very helpful as I had to be transferred urgently to the hospital and although we don't speak Italian, communication was great thanks to google translate. The view from the apartment is gorgeous over the village of Uscio. Good place to be to visit the neighboring villages. Even to go to Cinque Terre, we took the car to La Spezia (via the highway), then spent the day there visiting Cinque Terre via the train. To visit Camogli, Santa Margharita and Portofino, we were able to park at Recco's train station for free and took the train as well. Easily done. In short, would recommend this place without hesitation.

I stayed there for three nights and I‘m very happy that I have choosen this apartment. Before arrival I was in contact with the host for all details, she answered always very fast and was very friendly. Also when I arrived in evening time she was welcome me directly on arrival, showed me the apartment and offered me to contact her any time in case of questions and/or problems. The apartment is located on a hill, but easy reachable by car. The next „big spot“ is Sori where you can buy all you need. Genoa is reachable by car in abt 15 minutes, Portofino in abt 40 minutes by car. The apartment has a super furnishing, especially the kitchen and you have a own balcony with directly view on mountains. The rooms were very clean and I also had an ventilator in my bed room in case of warm summer nights. So I was very happy with this apartment and can recommed this absolutly.

The property has everything we needed. All appliances working, great bathroom, kitchen well equipped, dishwasher also a washing machine. Very bright inside, stunning views outside. Driving up there was also a great experience. The host was promptly available when we needed. Very calm village. We just loved our stay. ☺️☺️☺️ We had a hired car, but there is a van/mini bus every so often, can’t remember but I think is 5 times a day and will take you to Sori which is very easy to access Portofino, Rapallo, Recco, st margherita via train (we didn’t use the train)

Thank you Rocco! We had a lovely stay at your place! A place with character, a stunning view when waking up, everything so well arranged and all very clean. Also we were surprised that it was a very calm place to sleep just above the street! Your hospitality and kindness made us feel very welcome and we are thankful to have met you! We only stayed for one night but would definitely return when we are back in the area! PS: Camogli was like a movie scene, so beautiful! Grazie!
