The hosts are lovely and very helpful. They helped organize our airport pickup as well as a tuk tuk to the train in the morning and a wonderful home cooked breakfast as well. We are very happy with our stay. Would highly recommend.

The hosts at The Manor 1926 went out of their way to accommodate my late arrival, share local tourism/transportation information, and make sure I was comfortable throughout my stay in Colombo. The room is spacious, equipped with A/C, a washing machine, large fridge, purified water, a comfy bed, separate living room, and anything else you need to make yourself at home for a few days.

Well everything from host to property to amenities. You pick a thing and it was perfect. The property is hidden gem. I am sad that on my return to Colombo it's booked. A really nice clean, fresh apartment. Great communication from the owner and a really nice security guard looking after the apartments. Super comfy beds. Everything you need inc great kitchen. Big tv with good internet so you can get Netflix etc. AC and fans everywhere. Roof top pool was really clean and we had it all to ourselves! There's a little gym upstairs but very little equipment inside. We loved the location. Opposite Havelock mall so any shopping you need is right across the street. 10mins in a tuk tuk to lots of really nice bars and restaurants. Overall it's a perfect place for a city break or stopover. 10/10!!

From the very start, my stay with this property was marked by attention and a great sense of hospitality, thanks to a host who truly goes above and beyond. From A to Z, I experienced prompt and thoughtful communication. It felt less like a transaction and more like being welcomed into a friend's home. Host accommodated any request with humility and kindness that's rare to find. The apartment is exactly what you see online, with the breathtaking Indian Ocean view from the bedroom window. The place comes with all the comforts of a home from clean bed linen, towels, washing machine to kitchen amenities. They also accommodated housekeeping as per request. Host flexibly accommodated my delayed arrival due to a flight cancelation and graciously accommodated a late checkout. The apartment is situated in a great location in Colombo Marine Drive and it was easy to get a taxi via local app "pick me" or array of tuk tuks were always found on the Marine Drive. There is a large supermarket in walking distance, and just across the road, the beachside restaurants offer delicious local specialties till the midnight. Early morning walks on the golden sands by the beach was an absolute delight and I also loved to see the local trains passing right by the side of the beach. It was a great local experience. Highly recommended to both individuals and families.
