This 12-km hike will give you a chance to explore the Rottnest Island on foot. You will visit the Vlamingh Lookout, which offers a panoramic view of the island. During your hike, you will also explore Rottnest Island's salt lakes such as Lake Baghdad and others. The Wadjemup Lighthouse is a great location to catch a break and stop for light refreshments. You will also get an opportunity to swim at some of the most popular swimming spots such as Little Parakeet Bay, Geordie Bay and Longreach Bay, before hiking back to the main settlement.

Please note that the distance of the hike is 12 km. This is a grade three hike, which means that participants should have a moderate fitness level.
This experience is not suitable for children aged 0–3 years.
Please note that this is a small-group tour. Participants are required to bring hiking shoes or trainers, water bottles, sun protection, hats and towels. You can also carry snorkels and swimsuits if you would like to swim in the ocean after the tour.
