During this 90-minute excursion, you'll head into Australia's UNESCO-listed Blue Mountains to explore the wonders of the night sky. You’ll start this abseiling adventure in beautiful bush land, beginning on a beginner-friendly 5 metre high cliff. Your instructor will be close at hand to encourage you and explain the basic techniques. As you move through the activity, the climbs increase in height so you gain confidence and skills at each stage. With each descent your instructor will talk you through the steps, helping you progress to a 15 metre high cliff and, finally, a 30 metre high drop. As you move through the sessions you will learn core techniques that apply to outdoor climbing, practising rope work and technical rock skills in real settings rather than on artificial walls. Instruction is aimed at building confidence and competence for outdoor routes while letting you enjoy the natural climbing opportunities the Blue Mountains offer.
