Following a break in the Swiss town of Interlaken, you'll head to Grindelwald. From here, you'll board the Eiger Express cable car to the Eiger Glacier, and then ride the cogwheel train to Europe's highest train station at 11 feet in Jungfraujoch. You can admire the panoramic views of the famous triple peaks – Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. You'll also get to experience the Alpine Sensation adventure tour, visit the Sphinx Observation Terrace and walk through the tunnels of the Ice Palace. On this tour, you'll get to explore the highlights of Lucerne. Your first stop will be in Kriens, where you can take the cable car to Krienseregg and see the views from Restaurant Krienseregg. You can also take the cable car to Fräkmüntegg and go climbing in the rope park, or try some local cuisine in the restaurant. You can then take the ropeway to Pilatus Kulm. Once you reach the top, you can stay inside the gallery, relax on the terrace, explore hiking trails or enjoy a meal at Hotel Bellevue or Hotel Pilatus Kulm. Once you've had your fill, you can board the world's steepest cogwheel railway and make your way down to Alpnachstad. Several pretty bridges, steeples, fountains and frescoed facades will catch your eye on this walk, but Lucerne has so much more to offer than photo opportunities. You’ll begin at the train station and make a loop around the old town, visiting both sides of the Reuss river. Each site you visit has a story to tell, from the Chapel Bridge’s burning to the carnival celebrations. You’ll pass by wine, grain and pig markets too, each with its own unique character. From the markets, you’ll wander the cobbled streets to the Mill Bridge and find out about the castle on the hill.
